Take a moment and let your body settle where you're sitting.

If you like,

Take several deep breaths.

You might exaggerate each in-breath and let the exhale fall away.

You might do that a few more times if you like.

Imagine in front of you someone who you love.

This could be a partner,

A friend,

Someone you admire.

It could be a pet or even someone who has passed on,

Your grandmother.

Whenever you think of this person or being,

It feels like an inner smile appears.

So I'd like you to imagine this special person or animal being in front of you right now.

And repeat the following words softly.

You may even say the words silently or you might say them out loud.

Whatever feels best for you.

May you feel happy.

May you feel safe and protected.

May you feel healthy and fulfilled.

May you feel nurtured and cherished.

And again,

May you feel happy.

May you feel safe and protected.

May you feel healthy and fulfilled.

May you feel nurtured and cherished.

Now bring these wishes to yourself.

May I feel happy.

May I feel safe and protected.

May I feel healthy and fulfilled.

May I feel nurtured and cherished.

May I feel happy.

May I feel safe and protected.

May I feel healthy and fulfilled.

May I feel nurtured and cherished.

And once again,

Send these wishes to the special person you imagined earlier.

This person who makes you smile just to think of them.

To think of being with them.

To think of the special times you shared together.

May you feel happy.

May you feel safe and protected.

May you feel healthy and fulfilled.

May you feel nurtured and cherished.

May you feel happy.

May you feel safe and protected.

May you feel healthy and fulfilled.

May you feel nurtured and cherished.

Now would it be possible to send these wishes to all beings?
