Welcome to the Otter meditation.
My name is Renée.
I'm the founder of Sagittarius Way.
Otters are playful and a little bit devious.
They are a symbol of good luck,
Loyalty and affection.
If you need support with transformation or creativity or even craftsmanship,
They are good at supporting and opening up your psychic ability through opening up your inner child connection.
With their power tool Play,
They really play.
They are good at absorbing and then mimic what they see.
They show us via a mimic what it is we are doing.
To open up our senses,
Play is a big accelerator and it gives the joy to wonder and experience the new.
Otters love to cuddle and reach out.
Physical touch is a natural way to communicate their affection with each other.
It is an invitation for us to also get comfortable with the comfort of touch and to reach out in our community with a healing tool.
We all have this with us.
Not to hold back but to be fully aware that we are healers.
Otter reminds us to keep the inner child alive or to give birth to it.
They remind us that life can be fun if we approach it with the right attitude.
Otter is seldom seen alone.
The connection to water links them to the primal female energies of life,
Especially the pressure aspect of the feminine.
Creation,
Imitation,
Joy and love.
Sometimes Otter shows up to help awaken the primal nothing energy and the responsibilities.
It indicates a need to set up your boundaries with a home and define your feminine role.
If Otter has surfaced into your life,
It is maybe time to find some playtime.
Involve yourself in some creativity.
You don't have to be good at it.
Just have fun with it.
Or are you too playful?
Are you not staying focused?
Are you afraid to have too much fun?
Are you getting too serious?
Are you worrying?
Do you need to awaken your inner child?
Treat yourself to something special.
Honor Otter and it will teach you not only to have fun but it will reawaken a new sense of wonder,
At life,
At the things within.
Please begin by resting into a comfortable seated position and place your hands on your lap and gently closing your eyes.
While you're at this place,
Just let the words I just shared with you settle in.
Which words got your attention?
And just let those words and those thoughts sink into your body.
You can pay attention to the sounds around you as well.
And by doing so,
You're going to ask all the little pieces of you to come home,
To come back to you,
To be fully present with the energy of Otter.
Allow your body to settle into it as you begin to slow down and deepen your breath.
Your breath is your rhythm.
It's original to you.
And just listen to it.
Let it flow all the way to your body and then let it slowly come out,
Out of your belly,
Out of your lungs,
All the way back out.
And then let it go in again.
Beautiful.
Feel yourself transitioning into this practice.
Like I mentioned,
Let your body sink gently into your seat,
Releasing into the flowing rhythm of your breath.
I invite you to visualize that your body is completely at ease.
And start visualizing how your body is resting in a warm body of water.
And invite your body to surely and safely transform into an Otter.
As you embody this Otter,
Allow yourself to swim through the water,
Making twists and turns through the waves as the calm water washes along your skin.
Let yourself become overcome with the playfulness and the joy of Otter,
Curiously swimming around and exploring all that you can.
Relax into the energy of this Otter,
Giving yourself permission to embody this animal with a little while and explore its nature within you.
Just follow the senses that are coming up for you.
Open the playfulness and step into the energy of joy,
Creativity,
And feeling free to swim around and being light and being carried.
Imagine that you embody the playfulness,
Curiosity of this Otter as you swim around the water.
See all the beautiful plants and rocks around you.
You have a chance to see the world from a new perspective.
Otter reminds us that everything is interesting if we look at it from the right angle.
So let yourself be carried away into this exploration,
Looking at your surroundings underneath the water with fresh eyes.
Let your inner child come alive as you settle into this exploratory visualization.
Know that it's all you.
Release in the flow of this primal feminine energy of life connected to the water,
Awakening your primal mothering energy from your inner child as you explore the experience of embodying an Otter.
Just swim around and go explore.
See how your personality suits to be an Otter.
While you're swimming around you connect with other Otters and you're becoming a part of their community.
Watch them.
Maybe you would like to mimic them.

Start to realize yourself how big the body,
The world underneath the water is.
There are different directions you go to.
There's food to explore.
There are plants to watch.
Absorb any other animals.
Feel how joy,
A new perspective on things makes you feel.
Learning and acknowledging things that are within you,
That have always been there,
They just needed to be brushed off.
Just swim around,
Be bold,
Have fun and wonder what would my inner child like to do now or now.
And don't worry if you get distracted.
You can always come back here.
Just take a breath and swim away.
And then slowly,
Gently start to release this visualization.
Just swim above the water and then start shifting your awareness back into the present moment and into your body.
Deepen the body memory of the Otter within you as you integrate this new awareness into your consciousness and embody this wisdom.
Just take a moment,
Probably a few joyful breaths in and out to just make note,
A sense note or a mental note of all the things that you just experienced.
Then when you are ready,
Gently awaken your body,
Start listening to the sounds in your room and remember that the joy is at your home.
