If you have been carrying more than you should have to carry, and you cannot quite find a way to put it down — this practice was made for you. You will be guided to a maple tree. You will walk toward her slowly, place your hand on her bark, and settle at her roots. You will feel the solid weight of her behind you. You will breathe. And you will be invited to set down whatever you brought with you today — the worry, the weariness, the things you have not yet named — and let her hold it. She can. She has held harder things than this for longer than you know. This is a practice of nervous system rest through the medicine of nature. Of grounding. Of belonging. Of discovering that the earth has always been here, quietly holding you, waiting for you to remember. The silences are intentional. Trust them — they are the medicine. Please note: As this practice encourages deep relaxation, please do not listen while driving or operating heavy machinery. Music: Little Light — Wanderer's Trove
