I'm just trusting that you can return to any thought or idea whenever you'd like.
You have that power and control.
But for the next 30 minutes or so,
Just dedicating yourself to this practice of listening and observing.
So you can take some more cleansing breaths if your body needs it this time of day.
Maybe just exaggerating the inhales and exhales on either side.
So you take a few more sips of air and maybe pause when you're totally full.
And then as you exhale,
You push out a few more bits of air so that you're fully empty.
And then pausing at the bottom there.
Just feeling that sense of stillness.
And at any point you can let your breath return to its natural state so that your body is breathing itself.
Relax your forehead and your eyebrows.
Soften the muscles in your jaw and your cheeks,
Allowing any expression that's on the face to melt away just by relaxing all the muscles in the face.
Relaxing the ears,
The hairline,
The scalp.
And relaxing the forehead and the eyes even more.
So that you feel the corners of your eyes separating slightly.
Just getting a little wider by relaxing all those muscles along the lash line.
Just feeling the muscles on your face hanging off of the bones slightly.
And then notice the posture that your body's in right now.
Without trying to straighten it out or fix it right away,
Just notice what that resting posture is like.
Notice where your heart is located in the frame of your shoulders and chest and upper back.
For myself,
I often find that my shoulders kind of want to protect my heart and form a cave around it by hunching the shoulders forward.
So just letting your heart walk forward and step out of that cave,
Letting your shoulders drop back and down.
Breathing into your chest,
Breathing into your heart space,
Feeling this area growing proud.
Feel the wideness across your collarbones.
Feel a triangle from your collarbones to your sternum or your breastbone.
Letting that triangle get wide,
Proud.
Softening all the muscles in your arms and shoulders and hands.
Just noticing how the rest of your posture responds to this prouder heart center.
Sometimes an arch will form in the lower back.
So if you find that happening,
You can start to gently knit in your lower rib cage and gently tuck your lower belly toward the spine and just feeling that support of all of the muscles in your core supporting your spine.
Sometimes the head wants to throw back,
So just feeling your chin tuck really slightly toward the heart so that you feel more length in the back of your neck.
And now just scanning your spine up and down,
Scanning your spinal cord.
So starting at the very root of your spine,
The space in between the sit bones,
And just trace it with your awareness going up through the lower back,
Middle,
Upper back,
In between the shoulders,
The back of the heart,
And then feel that clear channel from the heart through the back of the neck into the mind all the way through the crown of your head.
So once again,
Softening the forehead and the jaw,
Soften the shoulders,
Soften the hands,
The fingers,
And now even relax your stomach.
Relax your hips,
Your glutes.
Relax your pelvic floor.
Relax your legs,
Your ankles,
And your feet.
Just allowing the entire outline of your body to be exactly where it is,
To be resting in this place,
All the muscles are soft.
And even though the muscles are soft,
You're feeling the crown of your head almost be magnetically drawn up toward the sky,
And then the root of your spine almost magnetically drawn toward the core of the earth.
But your body softens into this straight and proud posture,
And it's not really requiring your energy.
And even if you're laying down,
Feeling the crown of your head and the root of your spine actively resting in opposite directions,
If that makes sense,
So that you feel just even a tiny bit more space growing in between the vertebrae of your spine,
A tiny bit more space growing between the tailbone and the crown of your head.
So as we move into the chakras,
They are located along this path we've been bringing our awareness to,
Up and down the spinal cord,
Up and down that center line of the body.
And you can imagine each chakra as a wheel.
Chakra means wheel.
So I'm kind of seeing the river of energy that goes up and down your body.
The energy that's always flowing within you,
This can look very literal to you.
You can picture the blood running through your body.
You can picture air,
The air that you breathe in,
Moving up and down your body.
Or if you'd like to go a little more abstract in your visualizations today,
You can picture a river,
Maybe a river of water,
Maybe a river of energy or a misty color thing,
I don't know,
Whatever it looks like to you.
And just seeing that going from the crown of your head through the center line of your body and out the root of your spine and connecting you on either side to the earth and to the heavens.
So maybe this looks a little fuzzy right now.
Maybe it's not totally clear.
So as we move through the chakras,
Hopefully it gets a little bit more clear.
You can feel that path start to open up.
So you can bring all of your awareness first to your root,
To the space in between your sit bones,
The very base of your spine.
So just taking a moment to just call all of your awareness to the root.
And again,
This is an energetic listening process.
You don't have to worry about thinking.
You don't have to worry if you're doing anything right or wrong.
Stepping out of that mind of labeling and judgment and catching yourself when you fall into that so that you can come back to observance and curiosity and inquiring.
So just becoming curious of the base of your spine.
What sensations exist here?
Maybe as you start to tune in,
You feel your glutes relax a little bit more.
Maybe you feel the pelvic floor soften a bit.
Maybe you start to notice a faint pulsing sensation here.
Maybe it's stronger.
Notice if you're seeing any colors in your internal vision.
I will offer the colors associated with each chakra,
But don't try too hard to see that specific color and allow your own eyes to just see whatever it picks up.
I find sometimes I try too hard to see whatever color is supposed to be there,
But I don't allow whatever color is there to be there.
So just keeping that in mind.
The color associated with the root is a deep red.
Again,
If you have any other hues that you see,
Observing.
The root is where we feel safe,
Where we feel secure and supported.
It's our connection to Mother Earth,
Our sense of grounding in this physical world.
It is the base of our physical body.
When we are seated on the earth,
We are connected clearly.
So you can repeat to yourself the following affirmations and just feeling the sensations of the words.
I am safe.
I am secure.
I am supported on all sides,
In all realms.
I am held by the earth.
So starting to see that wheel visualization,
Maybe seeing your root chakra as a wheel.
As you allow yourself to feel safety,
To feel security,
And even if there are facts in your life that might make you feel otherwise,
Just coming to that ultimate sense of safety,
That ultimate sense of you are exactly where you need to be.
You have technology,
You have ears that can hear,
You have a roof over your head,
You have a body that functions.
Just reminding yourself of all of the things we usually take for granted that make us safe,
Make us secure.
Seeing this wheel rotating here so that the energy can flow freely.
There's no blocks.
A lot of times a blocked chakra can be described as a wheel that stops turning.
So if you picture a river with a dam or a wheel in the middle of it,
And it gets all clogged up with rocks and dirt and leaves so that the water just has to stop and the energy just stays there,
The water stays on one side.
So clearing the chakras is like clearing those dams or clearing those wheels up so that they can start to rotate again and welcome the energy into the next chakra,
To the next part of the body.
So that is what we will be doing,
Continue to do.
So feeling your root start to clear and tracing that energy from your root as it is welcomed into the sacral chakra as we start to move up the body,
Coming into your lower belly.
This is your lower belly and your sacrum.
So you can start to gradually let your awareness come here to your sacral chakra.
This is our home of creativity,
Of joy and pleasure,
Our goddess energy.
Even if you are male or identify as being mostly male,
We all have a inner goddess energy and is patient,
Creative,
Kind,
Joyful.
It is starting to allow these sensations to take over the body,
Repeating to yourself,
I am creative,
I am joyful,
I am worthy of pleasure.
Starting to notice any sensations that exist in your lower belly.
It will be about two or three inches beneath your navel,
Your whole pelvic region.
Just notice what area specifically is calling the most attention to you.
Noticing maybe a pulsing sensation here.
Noticing any colors that you see in your inner vision.
Relaxing your forehead and your eyes as you do so.
Noticing the shoulders as you do so.
The color associated with our sacral space is orange.
But again,
Noticing any other tints that you see in your inner vision.
Maybe seeing that wheel rotating here and allowing that energy to just flow.
Allowing that river to unclog.
Just by checking in,
There's nothing really profound that you need to do or think or say to yourself.
Just trust that the time that you spend checking in,
Just observing,
Just being curious about each part of your body.
That is what allows your body to function as it's meant to.
So allowing the energy to start to enter into your solar plexus.
This is your stomach.
Your third chakra,
About two inches above the navel.
But noticing if there's any other specific area in the stomach that is calling attention.
As you start to call all of your awareness into the solar plexus,
Allow your stomach muscles to soften.
Allow the air to enter freely into the stomach.
Maybe feeling this chakra be cleansed a little bit more with each breath.
Starting to notice the pulsing sensation here.
That heartbeat in your own belly.
Noticing if any other areas of the body start to tense up.
Sometimes if there's things we need to address in certain chakras,
Our body can start to resist by clenching the fists or the jaw or the forehead or neck,
Shoulders,
Whatever.
So just by noticing when that happens,
This is what allows us to soften even more.
So by relaxing the shoulders,
Hands,
Jaw,
Anything that starts to tense up.
And keeping your awareness calling back to the solar plexus.
That fire within the belly.
This is our home of self-worth,
Of confidence,
Our sense of worthiness.
When you have negative self-talk,
A lot of times we'll either under-eat or overeat.
We have problems with digestion.
This is no coincidence.
This is how the solar plexus functions.
So catching those moments of negative self-talk,
Just reminding ourselves that our thoughts and feelings are not facts.
What is a fact is what exists at our core.
And at the core of your solar plexus,
The core of your stomach,
Is a sense of worthiness,
A sense of confidence in your feelings,
In your words,
A sense of confidence in yourself.
Even if you don't feel these things at this moment or if you forget them throughout your days,
Just reminding yourself that this is what exists at your core.
Everything else is just extra on top of your sense of worthiness.
They're just filters that are distorting our sense of confidence.
I am worthy of all great things.
I am confident in who I am.
Maybe seeing your internal vision take on a yellow color.
Maybe not.
That is okay.
And starting to see that wheel rotating clockwise in unison with your digestion,
Clockwise around the navel,
Finding that moment of stillness on either side of your breath,
The bottom of the exhale,
Just pausing,
Tuning in fully to your solar plexus,
Imagining this area being full of love,
Imagining this wheel rotating seamlessly so that the water can flow freely,
Allowing the energy to continue to flow up.
As you start to move into the heart,
That transition chakra in between the physical and the spiritual realm,
Our heart center.
This might be the most obvious pulsing that you feel if you hadn't felt a pulsing sensation in the rest of the chakras that we've done so far.
Really feeling it here.
Maybe even feeling your heartbeat shoot down and beating into your solar plexus,
Your sacral and your root.
So we're not forgetting the chakras we just worked on.
We're incorporating,
We're growing our awareness to encompass all of the chakras.
So just taking a moment to feel your root again,
Feel your sacral,
Your solar plexus,
And then tuning in fully to your heart,
Tuning in fully to the unique rhythm of your own heartbeat.
This is where our love is stored,
Our light,
Our compassion,
Our gratitude,
Our forgiveness.
All those deepest feelings of love are stored in our heart center and are fed into the rest of the body.
Maybe seeing that wheel rotating seamlessly here.
Maybe not if that wheel visualization isn't coming to you naturally,
Just forget about it.
But if it's working,
Then stick with it.
Maybe seeing your inner vision turn to a slightly greenish color as you repeat to yourself,
I am love.
I am light at my core.
I am compassionate with myself and my past,
Present,
And future.
So I am compassionate with others and the world.
I am grateful for myself,
My past,
My present,
And my future.
Therefore I am grateful for the world and its past,
Present,
And future.
As you just remind yourself that everything happens exactly as it should,
Exactly when it's meant to,
Even if that is a painful truth.
There are many truths that are painful.
Just finding the beauty in that as well.
Reminding yourself that you would not know true love,
True joy,
If you did not experience true pain and true sadness.
So your practice is not about pushing away everything bad and only having good,
Pushing out the negative,
Only having the positive.
It is about seeing the beauty in everything,
In the contrast of the positives and the negative,
The pain and the love of the sadness and the joy.
Allowing your awareness to continue to float up as you come into your throat.
The energy from your heart flowing freely into your throat center.
Seeing the heartbeat that exists in the throat,
Our home of honesty,
Of truthfulness,
Of communication,
Of that honesty and truth.
Maybe your inner vision taking on a bluish tint.
I am honest while communicating with myself,
And therefore I can be honest while communicating with others.
I accept the deepest truth as being that I am love,
And I communicate that love to myself and to others.
I allow my heart to speak for me.
Seeing that energy continue to rotate and flow as you come into your third eye center,
The space between the eyebrows.
Your third eye chakra,
Feeling that pulsing of the forehead as your jaw and neck and shoulders soften even more.
And you feel that energy from your root,
Your sacral,
Solar plexus,
Heart,
Throat,
And now third eye,
All connected,
All pulsing in unison,
All lit up in their own colors.
And turning your inner gaze to peer into the forehead,
Maybe seeing an indigo color.
This is our home of intuition,
Of trusting our inner guide.
So I hear and interpret my gut feelings accurately with love,
And I trust my innermost feelings,
My inner guide,
My intuition.
And I see myself clearly,
And that is what allows me to see the world clearly.
And finally,
Allowing your awareness to come into the crown of your head,
The highest point in your body.
The crown chakra.
And feeling how the crown funnels light into all the other chakras.
Our crown is our connection to source,
Our connection to spirit.
So feeling that magnetic connection to the heavens above you,
As well as that connection from your root into the earth beneath you.
So feeling grounded and lifted at the same time.
Feeling how that increases,
That length in your spine increases the ability for,
Or the area for energy to flow in your body.
Feeling that pulsing of your crown chakra.
Feeling the connection,
That guidance,
Maybe seeing your inner vision turn to a violet or a white color.
And just feeling that pulsing of the crown of your head.
And almost seeing light being funneled into the crown of your head,
And seeing that light magnetically be drawn to all of your chakras as light attracts light.
I am connected clearly to the energy that created all of life,
Because I am life.
I am connected clearly to my ancestors,
To the spirits of love and support that surround me,
To my angels,
To my spirit guides.
I am connected clearly and receiving help,
Guidance,
Support at all times from spirit,
From the source of love.
Trusting that you will be receiving messages in the form of songs,
Overheard conversations of feelings,
Sensations in the body,
Of words that you say,
Words that you write,
Connections that you make,
Opportunities that present themselves to you,
In all these different ways,
As spirits form of sending you love,
Sending you support,
Guidance,
Even in the form of rejection,
Even in the form of pain and suffering.
Trusting that even if it doesn't feel like it,
You are always exactly where you need to be.
Trust that you're hearing these messages for a reason.
And trust that these messages are always within,
Always within your subconscious.
And trust that these messages will be guiding you to act and speak in ways of love,
To share that love with the people around you.
Seeing all of your chakras now lit up from the roots to the crown,
Feeling yourself aligned with all planes of reality.
Any colors or lights you see emanating from your chakras allow this energy to soak into your body,
Allow everything that we practice today to soak into your cells as you start to bring awareness back to your surroundings,
Reminding yourself of where you are in space,
Even seeing your body in the physical room that you're sitting in or laying in,
Seeing the outline of your body as you begin to call air back into the body,
Taking conscious deep breaths,
Filling yourself up to every corner and edge,
Letting go as you exhale.
If you would like to,
You can bring your hands to a prayer position at your heart center,
The palms and fingers making contact,
The thumbs pressing toward the heart,
Heart pressing back toward the thumbs.
This feeling reminding yourself of all that power that you have as you gently bow your head to that power,
Bowing your head to your highest self and thanking yourself for your practice for showing up,
Thanking everyone else in this space for showing up and thanking source energy for allowing you to wake this morning or today.
May this practice continue to heal you through the rest of your days and nights and may you bring this love into everything that you do and to everyone that you see.
Namaste.
