Welcome to this meditation.
Thank you for taking the time to be with me today.
When you feel ready,
You can go ahead and close down the eyes.
Find a soft gaze.
The intention of closing down the eyes is to take your attention into a more internal landscape.
So as you do so just starting to notice the body resting there.
And present moment awareness in the senses of the felt sense.
The chair,
The floor.
And as you start to settle into the body,
You may notice temperature or sensations of tingling.
You might also start to notice some energy in the body,
Such as emotion.
And just let your attention reside and kind of search throughout the body in a way.
Looking for any constriction or tightness.
And arriving on that space in your body and just resting in the sensation itself,
Just noticing.
Perhaps you can sense into words like tightness,
Pressure,
Heat.
You may also notice form or object appearing in the mind as an image.
As best you can,
Just acknowledging the felt sense.
Of this region of your body for the next couple of breaths.
And as you continue to explore this region in your body,
You may start to notice the ever-changing appearance of shape and form.
And as best you can remaining curious.
Not needing to make any story up in the mind about what's happening,
But just to simply notice.
If it's useful,
You can connect in with your breath here.
Noticing the inhale and the exhale.
And the ever-changing energy.
Allowing whatever is here to be here with a spirit of kindness.
I'm continuing to attend to this region of your body as soon as there's no compelling energy available.
Feel free to shift your attention.
Throughout the body again to notice.
Any other points of constriction or tightness.
In this way resting with and being with whatever is present.
No need to change anything,
Just to simply notice.
Continuing to utilize the breath.
And it's soothing,
Ever-changing.
Awareness.
Staying here as long as you wish.
When you feel ready,
Slowly coming out of this session by just gently opening your eyes.
Finding a soft gaze,
Taking in the texture and the light before you.
Thank you for experiencing the somatic practice with me today.
May you revisit it whenever you feel the need.
Have a wonderful day.
