Kundalini Yoga For Strengthening The Aura
by Ro
The aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds your body. It acts as a container for your life force, bringing confidence, security, mercy, and love. A strong aura attracts positivity and repels negativity, like a shield. Illness cannot penetrate to your physical body. It gives a strong sense of security and an uplifting presence. A weak aura can make you feel paranoid or a lack of self-trust. Negativity can penetrate into the psyche and physical

Sat Nam,
Welcome.
Let's begin our practice sitting cross-legged on the floor in easy pose.
Take some time to connect with your breath,
Deepening your inhale and lengthening your exhale.
Inhaling up and exhaling down.
And now rub the palms of your hands together.
And bring them in prayer pose to your heart center,
Ready to tune in.
Take a big inhale and a long exhale.
We'll inhale to begin.

This is the Kriya called Strengthening the Aura.
The aura is the magnetic field which protects us and which projects our personality.
Come into an all fours position on your hands and knees.
Have your hands directly underneath your shoulders,
Your knees directly underneath your hips.
Tuck your toes behind you and lift yourself up into a downward dog position.
Tilt your pelvis as if you were sitting on the ceiling.
Relax your chest towards your thighs.
Stretch your heels towards the ground.
And now raise your left leg.
Point your toes.
Raise your leg high.
Feel a straight line between your toes,
Your pelvis,
Your shoulders and your hands.
We're going to inhale in this position and on the exhale bend your elbows.
Bring your head towards the floor.
Inhaling,
Straighten your elbows coming back up and exhaling,
Bending your elbows,
Bringing your head towards the floor.
Inhaling,
Pushing yourself back up to your starting position.
Going down,
Inhaling up.
Strong,
Powerful arm movements.
And now relax your left leg down.
Place the foot back down on the floor and raise your right foot.
Point your toes.
Feel a straight line between your toes,
Your hips,
Your shoulders and your hands.
Take an inhale and on the exhale bend your elbows,
Bringing your head towards the floor and then inhaling,
Straightening back up.
Exhaling down,
Inhaling up.
Keep moving powerfully with your breath.
Relax your right leg back down.
Sink onto your knees.
Sit back onto your heels.
Relax your forehead to the ground.
Take your arms back,
Palms facing up by your feet and relax your shoulders.
Now bring yourself back to easy pose,
Cross-legged,
Sitting on the floor.
Raise your arms to the front at shoulder heights with palms facing.
Rotate your right arm anti-clockwise so that the palm of the right hand faces to the right.
Lower your right arm below the left,
Take it a bit beyond and then raise the right palm to hold the back of the left and interlace your fingers.
Using a very strong,
Fast breath,
Quickly pump the arms up to 60 degrees on the inhale and back to shoulder height on the exhale.
Vigorously clear your aura up,
Down,
Up,
Down.

Bring your hands into Gyan Mudra with the four fingers and thumbs touching,
Resting on your knees and relax.
And as you relax,
Bring to mind an aspect of yourself which is troublesome,
A habit of behaviour which does not serve you.
We'll use the next exercise to clear it from your aura.
Raise both arms in front with the palms facing.
And rapidly we're going to inhale and fling our arms back,
High and wide,
And then exhale,
Return to the front.
Make your breath and movements deep and rhythmic.

And rapidly we're going to inhale and fling Inhale,
Open your arms wide.
Squeeze your root lock.
Exhale and relax.
And now bring yourself to lie down on the floor for relaxation at the end of the career.
Allow yourself to be heavy on the ground,
Sinking and softening.
Allow the ground to hold you.
Surrender your weight.
Relax yourself.
Relax every part of yourself.
Relax your feet and your legs.
Relax your pelvis.
Relax your back.
Relax your belly.
Relax your chest.
Allow your arms to be heavy,
The palms facing up.
Allow your fingers to soften and relax.
Allow your head to be heavy on the ground.
Relax your neck.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your tongue.
Relax your eyes.
Allow the eyelids to gently close.
Completely relax.

Begin to breathe more consciously.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Circle your ankles and your wrists.
Stretch your arms up above your head along the floor.
Stretch your feet away.
Big stretch.
Take your arms out to a T shape at the side.
Raise one knee and allow it to flop over the other leg.
Turn to look in the opposite direction.
Come back to centre.
Raise the other knee.
Allow it to flop over your other leg.
Turn to look in the opposite direction.
Come back to centre.
Bring your knees into your chest and rub the soles of your feet together.
Rub the palms of your hands together.
Cup your palms over your face.
Open your eyes into the darkness of your palms and slowly lift them away.
Hug your knees into your chest and rock from side to side.
And then rock up and down along the length of your spine,
Rolling from tailbone to shoulder blade,
Massaging your spine on the floor.
And roll yourself to come sitting up when you're ready.
Rub the palms of your hands together.
Take a prayer pose at the heart centre.
May the long time sun shine upon you.
All love surround you and the pure light within you guide your way on.
Take a big inhale.
And a long exhale.
Inhale to sat nam.
