Understanding the self is the key to dealing with negative energy. Blaming others always deflects me from the task of self-realisation. Exposing all my inner workings to myself actually frees me from discomfort. Observation is the method. Honesty and courage make the journey possible. Nothing is fixed. I am never stuck. There is always hope. Listen to the signals from inside. Wake up to the pointers coming from others. Don’t waste your precious time.

And to think about how to block negative energies,

We're going to explore the need to be compassionate towards those who are jealous or hateful to us because they're in pain of having achieved less.

So let us radiate pure thoughts for them and the thing we need to remember is that many people will send you good vibrations,

Blessings,

People will feel good towards you,

There must be a big ratio.

So concentrate on that and don't be upset by the other because to focus on positive energy reduces the influence of negative energy that's targeted towards us.

It's to do with understanding the self and many of those agitations and dislikes we send to others.

We're frightened of some people,

We're resentful of some people,

We dislike them,

We wish they would go away.

So it's like we are sending bad vibrations to other people also and by sending those bad vibrations out then there's a space for bad vibrations to come back to me.

I need to keep myself calm and concentrate on creating within myself some understanding.

I need to make myself very practical and think well whatever it is you can understand that people can hate each other because we're people we don't like.

We can understand that people are jealous because there's sometimes there's people we wish that we had what they had but when I start making it very very personal for myself it becomes exceedingly painful and then we go into loads of why and how and what have I done and how can I stop this and how can I get rid of this and when will this go away when will they go away.

I need to check myself to see first of all am I reacting and creating very fearful thoughts inside myself because of what I can see and feel coming to me from others and it will be.

A lot of people find in a job situation it can become very very critically uncomfortable because there's so many rules and regulations and there's usually someone forcing you to follow those rules and regulations and it can be very uncomfortable but what am I doing to myself how am I thinking inside.

When I start to look at Raja Yoga meditation the aim and objective the outcome of what the whole practice is is to change my negative ways into positive ways.

So you could say that there's benefit when I see myself thinking in a negative way because it's letting me see it's like an alert it's like a wake-up it's like a warning to me don't go there because everything we think say and do has an effect it has a vibration it has a feeling and it's for a reason it's I'm either wanting to do something well or something good or I'm wanting to or I'm maybe not even wanting to but I'm having bad waste thoughts about some situation or person or people we can't change life we can't change people.

Whoever is having hateful thoughts to me or however whoever is making me uncomfortable they themselves are uncomfortable and they think that's the way to be.

People don't make things practical and look rationally at things to see that this is a waste of time this is a waste of time it's most of its taking place inside our heads you know all the thinking about it afterwards or beforehand all the thoughts all the worry all the apprehensions it's all happening in here and who who is getting so upset by these thoughts it's me I'm getting upset by the thoughts of someone who doesn't like me or who says hateful things about me or who's extremely jealous of me and one thing I would say there's a lot of people might be jealous of you for some reason or another and it's very very difficult to stop you can't stop someone being jealous of you so I would start taking away the good things in myself to please someone who's jealous of me if I'm aware of it and it's an uncomfortable thing and they get angry you would start to hold yourself in and pull yourself back and you would never be comfortable in their company but quite often you wouldn't be comfortable in other company once you'd experienced that because you think oh this might upset someone so that which could be your really good energy which has made you blossom and bloom and full of confidence could be upsetting a lot of people who are not confident and don't blossom and bloom it's very tricky isn't it extremely tricky and the experiment or experience has been that when you come across people like this it wouldn't matter what you did even if you flattened yourself and said just walk over me I'm nothing I'm just a drudge they still wouldn't like you so what benefit would you get out of that they wouldn't go oh well I'm now I'm better than you they would still get so annoyed that you've done something so heroic and that you were actually quite nice to them they wouldn't like it it's to be aware aware aware of all these energies that go on and that I understand them why because I produce them myself at times and the more I get to know myself and know the strengths that I have inside I know the good feelings that I have inside I know the kind-heartedness that I have inside and know that I don't need to compete with anyone and if I do it will only upset someone so the practice here is meditation and the more I'm able to practice meditation and look at myself and get to know myself and become confident in who I am then I can spread these good wishes around in a bountiful way and good wishes won't have any bad comeuppance they weren't nothing bad will come from spreading good if people are jealous of me sometimes it's because I am arrogant about whatever it is I have and that's what makes them jealous and that's why it's hard for me to overcome whatever it is but when I start to send out sincere feelings of appreciation understanding and respect that can help me to have friends to build my own self-esteem my own confidence and not to cause harm to others if you think about it yourself you'll know how you think inside and you'll know that's how you recognize how others are thinking about you and you know how upset it makes you feel and it can make us upset for days weeks months we chew away at whatever it is and it's so negative and it's so hurtful of the self I do more hurt to the self thinking about someone who doesn't like me than the person who doesn't like me does to me and so it's to stop that habit and if someone's jealous of me I have to check am I flaunting something am I really arrogant about some aspect of how wonderful I am because that's what triggers off their jealousy and that's why I can't stop it because what I've been putting out is actually not a good energy there it's like a signal again a warning to me to don't do it because if you do it you will get bad vibes come back to you from that it's a really interesting thing to do to sit in meditation and check yourself check your old patterns of thinking and check the results of those old patterns of thinking how much do you hurt yourself by the way you think and it's very tricky to stop if you're really agitated agitated you try to sleep at night it's almost impossible because of this turmoil in the mind this turmoil in the mind it really really nips and makes you so uncomfortable but you're so wide awake because to sleep is to heal and repair the whole body system so if I'm very agitated and I'm restless and I'm not able to sleep I need to check why sometimes it can be over excitement of a good thing but then I need to teach myself that's enough just cool down you'll never be able to sleep it's when I practice thinking in this way that I can help myself I can help myself I can look after myself not to get too sad or not get too upset realize also that whoever is maybe provoking me they will be in such a turmoil and given themselves such a hard time and if I keep triggering that off in them it's bad karma for me and if they respond in a really nasty way it's bad karma for them so bad karma bad karma that's how wars that's a baby war going on there two sides fighting each other when I look at meditation what is it we really most people will say they want to be peaceful it isn't really that I can just go and be peaceful yeah for a very short time maybe I can but then all the stuff that's in here all the things I react to all the things I'm upset about will keep coming into my mind to disturb me it's the things inside me that come into my mind and disturb me whether it's coming from someone a situation my own past my own memories something from inside me will be provoking all these fear factors and feelings of upset of not being respected all this when I begin to see what it's like to feel like this thing I don't want to put that out I don't want to put that out to other people to make them disturbed so they can't sleep meditation facilitates transformation there's no other way to transform because otherwise we're just filling the gap with that a situation which distracts you for a minute or two or for a while but all that's still in there the habits the energy patterns are in you they're in you how can you get them away so like physical things you can throw physical things out you can cut off your hair you can do all sorts of things you can change their face shape or the way you look change your outfit change your house change your country change your car they have to see these to change them they're invisible except in action and I'm prompted to know they're there when I experience pain distress discomfort it tells me stop find a solution don't go there just don't go there sometimes the strength of these feelings inside us we disregard that because somehow we want to get some revenge or some they fix it sort them out get this sorted out this is not fair but what am I doing to myself and even getting this these feelings these emotions come up to challenge not good it'll just cause you such a problem so it doesn't mean that we becomes weak and soft when I think like this I'm starting to build a strength inside me so that I'm able to begin to handle myself and not be daunted by how other people handle themselves see the difference then I start to have quite a lot of self respect for myself because I think it's okay just fine I'm okay with all of this because I can't change it all I can do is totally beat myself up for what someone's saying to me or just stay calm and let it pass and I'm doing the other person a favor also because they can become more calm they're not being challenged but this takes strength this isn't weak this takes strength understanding and courage and great determination I'm sure you've all got experiences of these things when you look inside and think about it you know that you get so many things coming to you but also you put so much out but also whatever comes to you you it's like a dog with a bone you can't leave it alone you keep going on and on and on and on and you build up a huge resentment upset inside so don't go there anymore start to look at how to bring all these positive energies that you have use them in a good way for yourself and for your interactions I'm chanting the seed of everything is that you're a soul point of living life energy if you could start with that looking at yourself as this point of light living energy that energizes the entire body system that thinks and acts and creates feelings and everything you think and see and do is recorded on your energy and that's the same for everyone that you're in interaction with they're also souls but if one of you have started to realize that you are the energy you are the soul then you can help to make a difference sometimes the changes are so so physically powerful that just thinking you're a soul and the other ones a soul isn't going to just change it like a magic wand but it means you're on the right track for keeping yourself in a better place well it's like if every day you practice it you might not have it it's like you go to school for the first time and you're really excited about your new school or learning to read and write but it doesn't mean you're able to do it or be top of the class right away takes time to put it together tiny bits by tiny bits until you become good but meditation is really natural we think all the time it's just to learn to think in the right way about ourselves about our positive self the fact that we're energy it's a big jump to go from this to that like as I'm looking at you I can see you and I'm now aware that you are a soul in the center your forehead so I'm looking at you because I live in this world but if you're not there and I'm looking at something that someone has said that has upset me then I'm doing it with my mind totally with my mind and taking the dab out to the thorn out that's hurting me and soothing it and seeing them in a better light if they're staying steady they're practicing something to be steady nothing comes from nothing it's the same with ourselves if you practice meditation and practice being stable and steady and not too reactive you'll help yourself a great deal I have said to people who have been jealous of another person for a certain reason they've got say they've got some us have something they're jealous of if you want what they've got you would have to walk in their shoes because they wouldn't get that just like that they would go through many tests and obstacles and they also would have the other side of the coin it wouldn't be as wondrous as it looks it would be all the other bit so it's a waste of time being jealous of someone if we stay body conscious in any way there will be unhappiness although we think we're doing the right thing but we're doing the right thing spiritually or am I physically being nice to that person you know am I trying so hard because if I do it spiritually there's very little effort required so just look at that to remember you're a soul but the spiritual you need to be coming from a spiritual place and then you're using your pure energy your good feelings your compassion your love your pure desire to make things better not to win not to get revenge you breathing calm taking just a minute I take a few moments to focus on my breathing as I breathe in I imagine gathering all my tense or anxious thoughts and as I breathe out I blow all those thoughts away now as I breathe in I draw down calm and tranquil thoughts from my mind and as I breathe out I spread these thoughts through my body the body relaxes and my mind becomes free freedom taking just a minute I imagine myself like a bird taking flight totally free I am free from the past from complaint blame and desire for revenge gliding high above I create space to gain new perspective an opportunity to learn from whatever has happened seeing clearly I can let go of all fear I can trust who I am I can trust life I am free only the true me remains harmonious flying high you focusing thought taking just a minute I step back from the noise and busyness and become quiet letting go of every other thought I focus on one thought I am a being of peace I am a being of peace holding this thought in deep concentration I feel the peace released into every corner of my being this concentrated thought this point of focused energy refreshes my mind and my day you
