Welcome to this guided meditation to clear your mind and energize your body.
Let's start by setting a powerful intention.
Answer the question,
How will I show up in the world after I clear my mind and energize my body?
Now get into a comfortable position.
Find your center within your body and slowly close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose to fill your lungs.
Hold for a brief moment and exhale all the air out through your mouth as your hands relax on each side of your body.
Take another deep breath in through your nose.
Fill your lungs with air and notice as your chest and core expand.
Hold for a brief moment.
Now exhale all the air out through your mouth as you feel the tension in your neck and core leave your body.
One more time inhale deeply through your nose to fill your lungs.
Hold for a brief moment as you feel tension building the muscles throughout your body.
Now exhale all the air out of your lungs and witness the tension transform into deep relaxation.
Allow this sensation to spread all over your body starting from the top of your head.
Feel a wave of relaxation move down your face and the back of your skull.
Feel the sensation move down your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your arms and through to your fingertips.
Feel the same sensation moving down your spine to your waist,
Back up from your chest,
Down your lungs,
Your stomach and again to your waist.
Breathe with ease as you observe the same sensation move from your buttocks to your quads,
Behind your knees,
Your calves and to your heels.
Again from your thighs to your knees,
Your shins,
Your ankles,
Your feet and your toes.
Inhale again through your nose and exhale out your mouth.
You are more relaxed now and ready to clear your mind and energize your body.
You may use this time to move into an even more comfortable position.
Now imagine yourself standing outside on the street in a busy part of your town.
The atmosphere feels familiar with people mingling shopping and dining in restaurants.
You can hear and see cars driving in both directions on the street.
The sun is out shining its beautiful rays on everyone.
The sky is clear.
The temperature is perfect and there is a soft breeze that soothes your soul as it blows past you.
You take a deep breath to enjoy the moment and then turn to your right.
That's when you notice a beautiful flight of stairs you don't remember seeing in this place.
The stairs are made of a shiny material that reflects the light of the sun.
On top of the stairs is a beautiful wooden door.
You can tell there is something written on the door but can't quite read it from where you are.
You decide to go to the door because you feel a strong sense you need to be there.
It's inviting.
You make your way to the bottom of the stairs and begin to climb.
With each step all the noise from the activities behind you fades away into the distance.
When you get to the top you do not hear any noises coming from outside of you.
You only hear your thoughts.
A veil appears behind you blocking your ability to see the people,
Cars and buildings.
You breathe as you take in the experience of external silence and a disappearing surrounding.
Standing in front of the door you notice it has no handles,
No keyhole and no knobs either.
You see the writing on the door.
It is the most beautiful cursive handwriting you have ever seen.
The writing is a greeting addressed to you followed by the words,
Welcome.
We have been waiting for you.
After reading the greeting you remember why you are here.
It has to do with your intention to clear your mind and energize your body.
You repeat the intention in your thoughts.
Each time you repeat it it gets louder and louder and you believe it more and more.
When there is no doubt in your mind about why you are here the door magically opens on its own revealing something amazing.
You walk through the door and find yourself in a large circular room with white walls that go up forever.
Around the walls are mirrors that touch the floor and also seem to go up forever.
The floor is made of marble tiles.
In the middle of this circular room is a green chair.
Next to the chair is a yellow side table with an unusual device on it.
There is also a red book and a blue pen.
There is a floor lamp behind the chair providing light to the entire room.
Underneath the chair and lamp is a circular orange rug.
You make your way to the chair and take a seat.
As you sit the mirror start reflecting all your mind's activities back to you.
Your thoughts about the future and the past.
Your every worry,
Every fear,
Every celebration,
Every pain,
And every desire.
The orange rug spins revealing the thoughts reflected in the mirrors behind you.
Once all the way around the unusual device lights up.
It addresses you and asks if you are ready to clear your mind.
Two buttons appear with the choices yes and no.
You take a deep breath while reflecting on your intention to clear your mind and energize your body.
Then you make a choice.
The mirrors reflect your choice.
Choosing not to clear your mind means the mirrors continue to reflect your thoughts back to you.
Choosing to clear your mind changes the mirrors reflections.
They show you sitting on the green chair.
They show you paying attention to yourself.
They show you smiling.
They show you being present right here right now.
They show you with a calm and clear mind.
Take a moment to enjoy this feeling of having a calm and clear mind.
Breathe.
Breathe.
It addresses you and asks if you are ready to energize your body.
Two buttons appear with the choices yes and no.
You make your choice remembering your intention for doing this meditation.
Choosing yes changes the color of the light shining from the lamp into a healing violet light.
Your chair begins to recline backward while raising your feet until you are lying flat.
The lamp focuses this healing violet light directly on your body.
The rest of the room is dark.
You can't see anything in the room other than what is on the rug.
You close your eyes and begin to feel the warmth from the light radiating throughout your body beginning with your head and moving all the way down to your toes.
You feel tingling sensations as the healing light energizes all your cells.
Breathe slowly and naturally allowing this healing process to happen as it needs to.
Soon the tingling sensations disappear.
You notice that not only is your mind still calm but now your entire body is fully energized.
You are ready to return.
You say in your mind I am ready to return my awareness to my physical body.
I am ready to return my awareness to my physical body.
I am ready to return my awareness to my physical body.
Now you begin to wiggle your toes.
You can feel the weight of the earth underneath your feet.
Take a deep breath and wiggle your fingers.
Slowly and ever so gently open your eyes and notice something new in your surrounding that you were not aware of before.
Breathe in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
You're back from an amazing journey in which you were able to calm and clear your mind and fully energize your body.
You are now ready to be who you said you would be if you had a calmer mind and an energized body.
Go forth and be that person.
