This guided meditation is a color visualization. Go ahead and find a comfortable position, Either seated or lying down. Go ahead and take a big breath in through the nose. Open the mouth and let it go. Give yourself a moment to arrive, To settle. Taking a moment to notice any sensations that might be present in the body today. Bringing a gentle awareness to the breath. Not manipulating it or changing it. Simply becoming aware of the natural rise and fall of the chest and the abdomen as you inhale and exhale. Create a picture in your mind of the color red. Imagine red of all shades. You might picture red objects, A red landscape, Or just a solid color red. Imagine all of the different tones of red, Like roses, Bricks, Apples. Enjoy the color red. Now allow the color you are imagining to change to orange. Picture the infinite shades of orange, Like flowers, Pumpkins, Carrots. Fill the entire visual field of your mind's eye with the color orange. Enjoy the color orange. Visualize the color yellow. See in your imagination all the various shades of yellow. Allow yellow to fill your vision. Lemons, Flowers, Fall leaves. Imagine the endless tones of the color yellow. Imagine yourself surrounded with the calming color yellow. Immerse yourself. Enjoy the color yellow. Let the color you are imagining become green. Fill your imagination with the color green. Imagine endless shades and tones of green, Like plants, Leaves, Grass. Imagine being surrounded by beautiful green. Imagine shades from the lightest to the darkest, From the brightest to the most subdued green. Enjoy green. Now see in your mind the color blue. Surround yourself with beautiful unending shades of blue, Like water, The sky. Imagine blue filling your vision. Enjoy the color blue. Allow the color in your imagination to become violet. Focus on the multitude of purples around you. Flowers, Eggplants, Sunrises. Immerse yourself in the color violet. Enjoy violet. Imagine the colors again, One at a time, Starting with red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet. Imagine the colors again, One at a time, Starting with red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Yellow, Green, Violet. Now allow your attention to return to your breathing. The gentle rise and fall of the abdomen and the chest. Start to become aware of the space around you. Take a big breath in through the nose. Open the mouth and let it go. When you're ready, Begin to flutter the eyes open, Bringing yourself fully back into the present moment. Have a beautiful rest of your day. Namaste.

So I have this obsessive compulsion where I have to constantly swallow or clear my throat. This practice I was actually able to go the entire time without giving in to that sensation. It was still there of course but that was the first time in at least 8 years I felt like I had some relief from it. Thank you so much!

Loved this and will return often. As a fiber artist it is right up my alley- blissfully lost in a sea of colorful yarns of all textures...infused with images of apples, lemons, limes- food my second passion!
