Welcome to our Magical Mermaid Morning.
We're going to practice mindfulness and set an intention for kindness.
Let's do everything all together.
Let's start our day by finding a cozy spot to sit and take a few deep breaths together,
Okay?
Imagine yourself sitting on a sandy beach with the waves gently lapping at your toes.
That tickles.
Take a deep breath in,
Smelling the salty sea air,
And exhale slowly,
Letting go of any worries or sleepiness from the night.
Now let's bring our hands together to our hearts and close our eyes.
Feel the steady rhythm of your heartbeat,
Like the gentle ebb and flow of the waves and the tide.
Can you feel your heart beating?
Thump,
Thump,
Thump,
Thump.
It feels nice,
Doesn't it?
Just like the waves.
As you sit here,
Imagine the sun rising over the horizon,
Painting the sky with hues of pink,
Orange,
And gold.
The ocean waves look like sparkles shining in the sunrise colors.
So pretty.
Wow,
It's so pretty.
Now let's take a moment to set an intention for our day ahead.
Do you know what that means?
It means we think of something that we want to focus on during the day,
Almost like a theme.
Let's choose one together this time.
Why don't we set an intention of being kind?
Now that we know our intention,
What we're going to do is we're going to think about being kind as we breathe deeply and imagine watching this beautiful sunset over the sea.
It's going to help you remember to be kind all throughout the day.
Are you ready?

Now,
Keeping your eyes closed gently,
Breathe in,
Think of how it feels to be kind to others,
And breathe out with a smile on your face.
I love to set intentions of kindness.
Let's do it again,
But this time feel how it feels in your heart to be kind while we breathe in.
Ready to think about it?
Breathe in,
Feel the kindness in your heart,
And breathe out with a big smile.
Let's take one more deep breath in,
Feeling the energy of the ocean filling our bodies,
And breathe out,
Letting go of any morning grumpiness.
Oh,
That feels so good.
Now,
Why don't you set your hands down in your lap,
Facing up to the sky,
And breathe normal just for a little while longer,
Keeping your eyes closed,
And imagine the light from that beautiful sunrise against your face.
Wow,
That feels really good,
Doesn't it?
Now,
As we open our eyes,
Let's carry the sense of peace and kindness with us throughout our day.
Remember,
You are as powerful and resilient as the ocean itself.
