What is EMDR?
by Reuben Lowe
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps the mind process difficult or stuck experiences. Sometimes memories don’t fully settle, and they continue to affect how we feel and respond in the present. EMDR supports the brain to reprocess these experiences so they feel less overwhelming. It’s not about forgetting, but about changing the relationship to what happened.
