Details

A long weekend to rest the urge to strive. To stop reaching, fixing, or becoming, and instead learn to receive. Through meditation, gentle movement, reflection, and shared quiet, we’ll nourish what already lives within us. This is a time for deep listening, quiet dreaming, and remembering that nothing is missing. Come as you are. Let this be your place of rest—a circle of women returning to what’s true and whole within. Carolyn and Sarah will share practices and reminders that have guided them along their journeys of “undoing,” offering tools to release what no longer serves you and reconnect with your own vitality. Sarah will offer heart-led talks exploring the beauty and challenge of being human, and a flow writing workshop that invites reflection, creative expression, and a renewed sense of trust in yourself and the path you’re on. Carolyn will guide slow yoga classes, cathartic breathwork & sound journeys and workshops for unpacking old, worn-out narratives of grief and guilt, supporting your nervous system, and creating space for deep restoration. Our retreat home is the stunning Brew Creek Centre - a 1.5-hour drive north of Vancouver, BC, Canada, two hours from the airport, and 15 minutes south of Whistler, an all-season, world-renowned alpine resort. If transformation is going to happen, it’s going to happen here - in an intimate, exclusive forest setting. You will receive a follow up Welcome Email from Sarah & Carolyn and directions for how to send the remainder of the deposit, within 48 hours of registering.

Nourishment is an essential part of the retreat experience, and our cuisine reflects the cozy, coastal abundance of the Pacific Northwest in winter. Thoughtful, nourishing, and deeply satisfying — each meal is designed to ground the body and warm the spirit after time spent in practice or out in the snow. Each morning begins with a leisurely brunch served after practice: an abundant spread of seasonal fruits, fresh breads, farm eggs, local cheeses, wholesome grains, and comforting bowls — always accompanied by herbal teas and freshly brewed coffee. In the evening, we gather again for dinner — a wholesome, west coast–inspired vegetarian meal crafted with local produce and hearty winter ingredients. Expect vibrant soups, roasted vegetables, earthy grains, and creative plant-based dishes that celebrate balance and comfort. Between meals, you’ll be nourished by two hearty snacks each day, to keep you energized and cozy throughout your time here. Our chefs work closely with local growers and markets to source the freshest seasonal ingredients, creating dishes that are both grounding and uplifting. Plant-based and vegan options are always available and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you join around the long communal table or settle near the fire with a warm bowl in hand, meals at the retreat are an invitation to slow down, savour, and connect — with yourself, with nature, and with one another.

“I wanted to quickly remind you again how special that retreat was! You’ve set the bar high for the next one I attend. It was a truly connected, cathartic experience for me. I do a fair amount of plant medicine ceremonies and this left me feeling every bit as healed and held, so thank you very much. You created a perfect container to fill my cup and open my heart again. Thank you! ”

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for such an amazing experience at your retreat. It was so well planned! So full of experiences and important time for myself to reflect, unwind and decompress from what has been one of the most challenging years of my life. Your retreat reminded me to not forget to put myself first so that I can remain strong not just emotionally but physically. You are very good at what you do! Not everyone in life finds their calling. You certainly have. Thank you for an unforgettable experience Carolyn. All the best to you and your beautiful family.

Lorelie, Canada

I just want to say thank you for the time with you. My attitude and mindset has been activated and I find myself exceptionally grateful to have been in your presence and receiving all your positive teachings. It has cleared many doubtful clouds around me and stopped many from rolling in! Thank you for giving so much of yourself to all of us who found ourselves in a room together. It has been a refreshing and grounding experience for me.
