We'll enjoy two group dinners at the villa: a warm welcome feast on our first night and a celebratory closing dinner on our last. The rest of the evenings, we’ll head out together to explore Ubud’s incredible culinary scene—from plant-based cafes to Balinese specialties. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or have dietary needs, you’ll be well cared for. Expect meals that are colorful, fresh, and soul-satisfying—just like the island itself.

Schedule

Our retreat schedule is thoughtfully curated to offer a balance of movement, exploration, rest, and connection—but everything is optional. This is your time, and you’re encouraged to listen to what you need each day. Most mornings begin with a grounding yoga practice followed by a nourishing breakfast. From there, we’ll explore the magic of Ubud together with group excursions to sacred temples, rice fields, local markets, and more. Afternoons often include free time to lounge by the pool, enjoy a massage, journal, or wander into town. Evenings are reserved for meaningful connection over shared meals, special gatherings, or simply quiet reflection. I started off in January 2024 in Sayulita Mexico, then Kyoto Japan in March 2024 and finally Hanoi Vietnam in April 2025. I stumbled upon Dee and Richelle's group after doing some online searching and everything kind of just lined up perfectly. I was highly interested in visiting Japan, but didn't have many people in my life who were able or willing to go with me, so I opted to take the plunge and travel solo.. and I'm so happy I did. Right from the start, I messaged Dee about my excitement and interest, but expressed my anxieties about travel plans, timings, and just navigation in general. Not only was Dee incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, but also so quick to respond and with such great detail. She asked where I would be coming from, and helped me map out the best flight plans to get to Japan, and to return home as well. After getting that taken care of, I felt so much relief and knew that I could embark on this journey. Navigating the airports themselves are of course a challenge, but when it came to the trains in Japan - I became even more lost. Luckily, Dee was there to my rescue to coach me through which lines to take and where.. and without much issue I landed in Kyoto to begin our retreat. I immediately found Dee and Richelle, and they were so welcoming and kind.. I had a feeling they could tell how travel weary and frantic I was, but they did a great job with putting me at ease and getting set in for our upcoming time in Japan. While I am new to my journey into wellness and healing, I have never done yoga a day in my life. Dee and Richelle were so patient with helping me learn and giving me tips, and for that I am grateful and really enjoyed that experience. So much so, that I believe I may start regularly doing yoga at home! Although, I find it hard to believe I could find better teachers than the two of them.

Dee provided a well-rounded experience. This is not solely just a yoga retreat. I learned how to throw pots, go on hikes, ride in a hot air balloon, and learn about Turkish culture. Cancellation policy

The remaining balance for the retreat is due 60 days prior to the start date. If this balance is paid earlier than these 60 days, you are eligible to cancel and receive a full refund of this remaining balance, provided you do so at least 60 days before the retreat begins.
