To begin,

I will invite you to find a comfortable seated position.

If lying down better suits you in this moment,

Please do so,

Supporting the body in a way that you can find stillness and ease.

Elongating your spine,

Relaxing your chin toward the chest and beginning to soften the gaze towards a still point or perhaps letting the eyelids meet and turning the gaze inward.

Let the eyes fall back into the muscles that support them,

Softening into the space between behind and around the eyes.

Welcome that softness throughout the face,

Dissolving any residual tension stored throughout the jaw,

The tongue,

The space between your teeth.

Let breath come and go as it pleases,

As you become acquainted with the softness.

Begin to draw the softening sensation around the back of your head,

As it glides over your neck and throat,

Perhaps swallowing a couple of times,

Consciously letting your shoulders soften down away from your ears,

Inviting the weight of your body to lower,

Sinking down into the points of contact between you and the earth below.

Using a sense of lightness throughout your torso,

Your upper body.

Allow your awareness to sink down through your belly,

Pelvis,

Hips,

Swirling and twirling through bone and blood,

Soft connective tissues of the legs,

Calves,

Soles of your feet,

Your body,

Remembering that it is not necessary to have these physical appendages in order to honor what they represent and to appreciate their value.

Starting with body.

Let your base continue to give way to the sense of support,

Connection,

Balance,

And ease.

As you inhale,

Allow your breath to fill your body.

And as you exhale,

Let it all go,

Your need to control,

Your need to hold on.

Exhaling to expand and exhaling to gently hug in towards your center.

Exhaling to stimulate all your vital organs and exhaling,

Gently massaging.

Exhaling to refresh,

Revitalize your fluids and exhaling to alternate current flow.

Exhaling to create space and exhaling to utilize that space.

As you melt,

Soften,

Blur.

Continue to follow your breath as it explores,

Guiding you through.

Nooks and crannies,

Vast expanses.

All that is available to you in this place of mystery and infinite grace.

Hovering somewhere above the weight of all that is,

Yet firmly rooted,

Grounded,

Connected to a sense of truth that reminds you of home.

In this sweet space between what was and what will be.

Find the essence of this now and welcome it into your being.

Knowing that as you begin to gather the bits and pieces of yourself,

That you are free to carry this experience with you throughout your day,

Into your sleep and beyond.

Begin to deepen your breath in your own way,

In your own time,

Welcoming yourself back into body.

If you feel drawn to connect palms at chest or third eye center,

Please do.

Finding a gentle bow of the chin,

Honoring the space you have created before opening to your eyes and welcoming this now.

Enjoy.

Until we meet again,

Namaste.
