Finding a comfortable position,
Either sitting or laying down preferably,
And then just bringing your eyes to a close,
Closing your eyes.
We're going to do a short practice here of connecting with the earth,
With your feet,
With your ankles,
And then coming to the heart.
So just beginning to bring your awareness to your ankles.
We're going to come to the backs of the ankles.
So maybe just allowing your feet to connect with the earth a little bit here,
However that might happen for you.
Just bringing your thoughts to your ankles,
To the soles of your feet,
And the tips of your toes,
Supporting the ankles and the feet.
You might notice some warmth or tingling in the lower half of your legs or in your feet,
Ankles,
Supporting the ankles,
Just allowing your ankles to open.
The ankles are portals,
So things can leave through portals and they can come in,
Noticing what it's like,
Just giving some beautiful attention to your ankles and your feet.
So much is happening in the feet and in the lower half of the body here,
In our feet.
If we have the ability to stand,
Our feet take us everywhere we need to go,
Supporting the ankles.
And then we're just really going to gently come up to the heart now.
We'll start with a little bit of opening the heart and then we'll just rest at the heart.
So we'll come to the left shoulder and the right hip bone,
Crossing the heart.
Left shoulder,
Right hip bone,
Left shoulder,
Right hip bone.
And then let's gently switch sides,
Coming to the top of the right shoulder,
Top of the left hip bone,
Crossing in that other direction.
Right shoulder,
Left hip bone.
Good,
Wonderful.
And now let's just rest in the heart,
Just resting in this place that's the center of your connection with yourself.
Just resting there and just welcoming everything about yourself here in the heart.
Everything is welcome.
Resting in the heart and then noticing your feet for a moment and noticing your heart.
And you might notice a connection between the feet and the heart,
Or you might notice something different.
And whatever you're noticing,
That's just right for you.
And resting in the heart and then just taking your time here.
Whenever you feel ready,
You can go ahead and open your eyes and just take all the time you need to transition to whatever is next for you.
