Rabbi Jeremy Markiz

Now an ordained Conservative/Masorti Rabbi, he lives in Pittsburgh where he seeks to explore how, through the lens of Torah, we can inspire justice, love of all people, and build healthy and meaningful relationships with each other and God. He believes that Judaism and Torah have the power to make us better human beings when we bring all of ourselves to engage with tough questions and the world around us. He currently works at Congregation Beth Shalom. In his spare time, Jeremy loves to run, hike, read, and listen to way too many podcasts. Jeremy Markiz received rabbinic ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles, California in 2016. He grew up in Portland, OR and attended the University of Oregon.

Perfect, short but with plenty of space for your own phrases and with great timings on the "callbacks".

Loved the silent pauses! So often background music is distracting. An explanation in the beginning would have been nice, so the silence would be expected. Otherwise, it was just the kind of meditation I was looking for.
