We'll begin meditation by just getting comfortable,
Either coming to a seated position or lying down,
Getting any wiggles out,
Just taking some intuitive body movements to get comfortable.
And then bring your attention to your breath.
Inhale,
Feel your belly rise,
And exhale,
Just let it fall.
Inhaling for three,
Two,
One,
And exhale,
Three,
Two,
One.
Just allowing your body to melt a little bit deeper into the surface beneath you,
Letting it melt like an ice cube melting on a hot day,
Letting each breath bring you a deeper sense of calm.
Now we're going to begin to picture God's peace starting to melt over your forehead,
Releasing any tension in your scalp,
In between your eyebrows,
Down into your cheeks and your jaw,
Letting your jaw feel soft as you feel a divine peace settling over your face,
Letting this divine peace heal any pain,
Any tension in the muscles,
Traveling down into your neck and shoulders,
Letting God's peace just melt your shoulder blades a little bit deeper down your back,
Bringing your attention into your heart space,
Allowing a sense of divine gratitude to sink into your heart,
Feeling a sense of gratitude for your blessings,
Gratitude for this time for yourself,
Allowing God's peace to just radiate down your arms,
Letting any tension melt out through your palms,
And then sending the next exhale down your back,
Allowing that divine healing to just travel down your spine,
Releasing any tension in the muscles,
Softening any pain in your back,
And then bringing the attention to your torso and your belly,
Acknowledging any worry,
Any fear you might be holding deep in your belly,
And then just letting it soften without judgment,
Releasing any anxiety,
Just breathe it out.
Come down into your hips,
Sending God's peace down your legs,
Allowing any tension to just melt out through your heels,
Allowing your body to sink a little bit deeper,
Not just noticing how your whole body is covered in a sense of God's divine loving peace,
Taking a moment to acknowledge just how much God loves you,
Feeling a sense of gratitude for that love,
And then sending that love out into the world,
Letting God's love just radiate from you as you feel a deep sense of relaxation and peace,
Beginning to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Coming back into the room or the space that you're in,
Feeling a renewed sense of energy and balance.
May God's love and light shine to you,
Shine through you,
And shine from you,
Today and always.
Namaste.
