Hello and welcome to this healing beach meditation.
Make yourself as comfortable as possible.
You can choose to lie down,
Or sit in a chair or on the sofa.
The most important thing is that you're comfortable.
Gently close your eyes.
Start taking several long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
As you breathe in,
Notice how the air fills your lungs.
And as you breathe out,
Slowly emptying your lungs.
And again,
Breathe in deeply and sigh out any unwanted emotions,
Feelings and tension.
Where can you feel the breath?
What temperature is it?
Is it different on the in-breath to the out-breath?
Now taking one more deep breath in and a big sigh out.
Begin to breathe however you feel most comfortable.
Now I want you to visualise that you're out in space looking down at the earth.
Think of a beach that you've been to or would love to go to.
It can be totally imagined or from a memory.
As the earth spins slowly,
Pinpoint the location of the beach.
You are now transported down from space and land softly on the sand.
What does the sand feel like on your feet?
Watch the texture and the temperature.
You can feel the salty warm air on your skin.
You can see the ocean as the waves lap on the shore,
Inviting you to swim in its gloriously warm waters.
You begin to walk towards the ocean feeling the soft dry sand become wet.
You're now paddling in the warm water,
Feeling it begin to wash over your feet as you wade slowly deeper over your calves,
Your thighs,
Your pelvis,
Your tummy,
Your chest,
Your arms and shoulders.
Now that you're fully immersed in the water,
You lay back and the ocean completely supports you.
These are special waters and you don't need to move to keep yourself afloat.
You're completely embraced by these nourishing,
Healing waters.
As you float,
You feel the golden light of the sun glowing down upon you,
Filling each and every cell of your body with its glorious healing energy.
Your whole body is tingling and sparkling in this pure nourishing light.
Visualise each and every cell as they fill with this healing light.
You continue to float in the crystalline water,
Absorbing the powerful light from the sun.
Any negative emotions,
Feelings,
Pain or energy simply washes away and dissolves into the water beneath you.
As you continue to float and absorb this healing light,
Begin to repeat these affirmations in your mind.
I am grateful.
I am powerful.
I am loved.
I love myself.
My body is amazing.
My cells are repairing.
My cells are healing.
You take a few more breaths here,
Appreciating the glorious light for a few more moments.
As you place your feet on the seabed and begin to slowly walk out of the sea.
The air is perfectly warm and you're enveloped in a long,
Soft robe.
You look around you and admire your own special beach one last time.
It is your own secluded paradise.
But you now know that you can come here in your imagination any time you need.
Begin to notice any sounds in the environment that you're in.
Feel your breath as it enters and exits your lungs.
Feel the surface beneath you and notice those points of contact where your body is supported.
Start to slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes and have a glorious day.
