Hello,
I'm Katya and today we're going to reflect on our self-worth in this meditation by travelling back through time to find a moment,
An event or situation that knocked our self-worth,
One that we may never have truly gotten over and is still affecting us to this day.
Begin somewhere you won't be disturbed and lie down in a comfortable position,
Wrap yourself up in blankets so you're as cosy as possible and when you're ready,
Begin to land right here in your body.
Take a few deep breaths here as you feel all the parts of your body sinking deeper into the surface beneath you and if you haven't already,
Close your eyes as we begin to go inwards together.
In your mind's eye,
Imagine a dial labelled self-worth with low to high.
How much self-worth do you feel right now?
It might already appear or you may imagine your hand turning the dial to arrive at the level of worthiness you are feeling right now.
Whatever the response,
That's ok and if it's low,
That's also completely understandable.
That's why we're here,
We're going to work on this today.
You are safe here,
However if you feel too uncomfortable,
Know that you can pause the meditation at any moment.
Looking at the result of self-worth on the dial,
Think about why your score is at this level.
Now we're going to reflect back.
Is there one particular event or in fact various memories that arise?
Do they go back to a specific time period or is it over several different time periods?
As you continue to remember,
You may now feel ready to visualise a past version of you that experienced this situation or situations.
Picture that version of you out in front of you,
Surrounded by a portal of light looking right back at you.
How old are they?
What are they wearing?
What is the expression on their face?
Reflect with their emotions from this situation.
How has it made them feel?
Are they saying anything to you?
What emotions did the situation or event trigger for them and why has it affected their self-worth?
Whenever it resonates,
You can now reach out to this younger version of you,
Whether you want to hold their hand or lean in and give them a gigantic comforting cuddle.
In any way you feel called to,
Feel free to communicate to them your unconditional love,
Understanding and devotion.
You may want to tell them that it's ok to feel how they feel,
That you love them anyway.
It's not their fault and that they are enough.
How does your younger self feel when you show them this unconditional affection?
How do they respond?
I'm going to stay quiet for a moment and give you a bit of time to connect with that version of you.
If you feel called to do so,
Perhaps show them where you are in life right now.
Show them that you're alive,
You've made it to this very day and even just for that beautiful soul,
Your younger self should be so proud of you.
We're going to communicate to your younger self some affirmations and listen to them repeat it back to you.
I am worthy.
I am worthy.
I am worthy.
As you begin to get ready to say your goodbyes,
You stand back and envelop the younger version of you in a bubble of pure white light filled with unconditional love and healing.
As you watch the light immerse their being,
You remember that you are both entangled,
You are one and the same,
So you also feel this light sparkling over yourself in your body today as you soak in the glorious sensation of worthiness,
Love and healing that you so very much deserve,
Dear soul.
The portal begins to fade and as you watch it,
You see the younger version of yourself smiling back at you,
Giving any last messages at this point now.
But you know that you can come back to this meditation at any moment should you wish to share more love and reconnect with this version of you,
Or even help with healing a different version of you from another event.
Remember that you are so powerful,
You are so worthy,
You are so loved and you are incredibly brave for taking this journey back to reconnect with this memory.
Thank yourself for taking the time out of your day to process this and build up that self worth.
