A chakra meditation written and guided by Laura Gallagher placed in the middle.

Begin in a chair or on your bed,

Either seated or laying down.

Have your spine in alignment.

Your shoulders walked in and your heart lifted.

Take your hands down by your sides or where they feel most comfortable.

If you're seated in a chair,

Allow the soles of your feet to ground down through the earth.

Close your eyes and turn to your breath.

As you inhale,

Let your belly rise,

Let it fill up,

Let it expand.

And as you exhale,

Let your belly empty,

Sink and contract toward the back of your spine.

Inhaling belly rises.

Exhaling belly falls.

Bring your awareness to the base of your spine,

Your root chakra,

Your chakra of support and belonging.

Imagine the color red vibrating and holding space at your root.

Breathe into the space of your root chakra and silently affirm to yourself,

I am grounded and supported.

I am grounded and supported.

Bring your awareness to a few inches below your belly button.

Your chakra of creativity,

Sensuality and joy.

Imagine the color orange vibrating and holding space at your sacral.

Breathe into the space of your sacral chakra and silently affirm to yourself,

I enjoy pleasure in all areas of my life.

Bring your awareness to a few inches above your belly button,

Your solar plexus,

Your chakra of your core identity.

Imagine the color yellow vibrating and holding space at your solar plexus.

Breathe into the space of your solar plexus and silently affirm,

I give myself permission to be my authentic self.

Bring your awareness to your heart center,

Your heart chakra,

Your chakra of love,

Compassion and empathy.

Imagine the color green vibrating and holding space at your heart.

Breathe into the space of your heart chakra and silently affirm to yourself,

I am worthy of the purest love.

Bring your awareness to your throat,

Your throat chakra,

Your chakra of self-expression and speaking your truth.

Imagine the color blue vibrating and holding space at your throat.

Breathe into the space of your throat chakra and silently affirm to yourself,

I speak my truth freely and openly.

Bring your awareness to the middle of your forehead,

Your third eye chakra,

Your chakra of insight and intuition.

Imagine the color indigo vibrating and holding space in the middle of your forehead.

Breathe into your third eye chakra and silently affirm to yourself,

I trust my intuition always.

Bring your awareness to the top of your head,

Your crown chakra,

Your chakra of higher consciousness and divine connection.

Imagine a bright white light vibrating and holding space at the top of your crown of your head.

Breathe into your crown chakra and silently affirm to yourself,

I am open to the abundance and greatness the universe offers.

Imagine yourself whole,

A beautiful bright light surrounding you and in you,

Fully aligned and aware.

Accepting yourself as a whole connection of consciousness.
