Welcome to this guided meditation to meet your higher self.
Before we begin,
I want you to take a moment to think about what are the pain and challenges that you're experiencing right now?
What do you want to feel?
And do you have any questions for yourself?
Or any answers that you're looking for.
Keep these in your mind as you go through the meditation so that you have an idea of what you want to talk to your higher self about when we get to that point.
When you're ready,
Find yourself a comfortable position,
Seated or laying down,
And close your eyes.
Slowing down your breath,
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep inhale,
Feeling the air expand your chest and your tummy.
And slowly exhale through your mouth,
Letting out a sigh of any built-up energy.
Taking another deep breath in,
Feeling the air being pulled in through your nostrils.
And again,
Sighing it out.
Take one more big,
Deep breath in.
And on your exhale,
I want you to release it as slow as you can.
Continue this pattern of breathing and begin to scan your body.
Noticing anywhere you might be holding tension from the day.
Releasing your forehead.
Unclenching your jaw.
Dropping your shoulders and releasing your arms.
Relaxing your back and your legs.
Releasing more tension on every exhale.
Now come back to your natural rhythm of breath,
Feeling a deeper sense of relaxation and calmness with each exhale.
Melting into the surface beneath you.
Relaxing even deeper.
I'm going to count down from 10 and with every number you will relax even deeper.
10,
9,
Feeling more relaxed,
8,
7,
Relaxing even deeper,
6,
5,
A sense of ease rolls through your body,
4,
3,
Even more relaxed,
2,
1.
Take note of any emotional tension that you're holding on to.
Anything that stuck with you throughout the day.
And begin to see all of these floating around in your aura,
Taking note of their color and their texture.
And slowly begin to gather them into your heart space.
On your next inhale,
I want you to breathe into these emotions.
And on your next exhale,
Imagine all the energy flowing out of your system,
Completely releasing it,
Leaving nothing left behind.
Now imagine in this room there is an elevator.
The doors open up and you step inside.
The elevator is going down and you relax deeper with each floor.
The doors open to your favorite place in nature.
Step outside and allow your feet to ground into the earth.
Acknowledging how this place makes you feel so calm and so at peace.
What do you see around you?
What sounds do you hear?
What do you feel on the surface of your skin?
What can you touch and what is the texture like?
What can you smell?
You can see a figure standing in the distance.
And as you walk up closer,
You realize that it is your higher self.
Take a moment to take them in.
What do they look like?
How do they carry themselves?
How tall are they?
Take in every aspect of what your higher self looks like.
Your higher self is here to help you along your journey.
So take some time now to introduce yourself,
Even though they know who you are.
And going back to what we thought about at the beginning of this meditation.
Ask them any questions that you need guidance on.
Take as much time as you need here.
Thank your higher self for being here to support you and hold on to that feeling of gratitude.
You slowly begin to drift away from this place,
Taking with you all that you have experienced.
Gently coming back to your body in this moment.
Taking a big,
Deep breath in,
Starting to feel your body again.
Noticing the sounds around you.
And as you exhale,
Starting to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Gently creating soft movements with your body if you need to.
And when you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
The light in me acknowledges the light in each and every one of you.
