Hello,

It's Penny here,

And we're about to go on a meditation journey.

But before we do that,

We need to get really comfortable.

So you can either sit up in a seat or lie flash on a bed or the ground.

You might want to have something under your head just to rest your head like a pillow.

But if you don't have a pillow,

That's fine.

Just lie your back and your head down against the surface of the floor.

Let your legs reach out and just relax.

You might find that your feet move outwards a little bit.

That's fine.

And you might want to put your arms out as well,

Just a little bit away from your body.

Just make sure you're really comfortable.

So today,

We're going to go on a special journey to the beach.

But I'm going to get you to do something for me first.

I want you to pretend to take your voice and throw it out the window.

Just allow your voice to move away from you.

You don't need your voice today for this moment.

This is a time for you to switch your ears on.

So you might like to do that.

Switch one ear on and the other ear.

And then just let your eyelids start to fall down and rest.

Your eyes and eyelids have been so busy.

And it's time for them to have a little bit of a quiet moment.

So just close your eyes and come on this journey with me to the beach.

I want you to use your mind and imagine a beautiful beach in front of you.

The waves are gentle and just lapping on the shore.

The sand beneath your feet.

It feels warm.

And you can really move your toes into the sand.

Feeling the sand beneath you.

It feels ever so lovely.

I want you to just slowly now look around.

What can you notice?

Are there other people at the beach?

Are there animals like dogs or seagulls?

Can you see all the different colours around?

The blue of the water.

The white sand.

And as you look ahead and see the beautiful calm water.

You might like to just slowly start to move towards it.

You might have someone special next to you.

Holding your hand.

Allowing you to feel nice and comfortable and safe.

And as you move towards you might like to just dip your foot into the water.

Feeling the water.

It's so warm as it runs over your toes and the tops of your feet and your heels.

Both feet now in the water.

It feels so lovely and warm and inviting.

You might like to take another step in.

Letting that warm water move up to your knees.

And slowly move up over your legs.

You're feeling so safe and comfortable.

You might even have a floaty on.

Just so you feel extra careful and safe.

And maybe you've got someone's hand in your own hand.

So you know you're safe and stable.

The water's so calm.

So warm.

And you decide to move in a little bit more.

Allowing the water to move up your tummy and your back.

You can still feel the sand underneath your feet.

Connecting you with the earth beneath you.

As you stand there you might like to reach out with your hands.

And just gently put your fingertips into the water.

Just playing with the tips of your fingers over the surface of the water.

It feels so lovely as the water moves over your skin.

The feeling of the water holding you.

Embracing your body.

And if you're feeling extra safe and comfortable.

You might like to just allow your body to float.

Using your special little floaties.

And just take your toes and feet off the ground.

Feeling your body moving with the water.

As it goes from one direction to the other.

This gentle rhythm.

Just this gentle rhythm of back and forth.

As the gentle waves move along the beach.

Moving in and out.

You might notice your breath.

As it moves your body moves one way.

You might breathe in.

And as the tide pulls you the other way.

You breathe out.

This gentle rhythm of in and out.

As you let your body float effortlessly on the water.

Feeling so supported and safe and relaxed.

How do you feel knowing that the ocean is holding you.

Nurturing you.

Supporting you.

And as you just lie supported by your floatie.

Enjoy the moment.

The freedom of being in this gentle warm ocean.

And enjoy.
