Welcome to day 17,

As good as you can.

Begin by feeling at home where you are right now.

Take a look around.

If you want you can close your eyes and listen to the sounds.

Just listen without having to change anything.

Now turn away from the outside and turn your attention inside.

What's going on in your breath?

Follow your breath as careful as you can throughout the body.

Inhaling all the way from the toes up through your belly,

Chest,

Throat and head.

And then exhale.

Like a wave of relaxation flowing down through your body.

Let your shoulders drop.

You can release some of the tension,

Some of these armor plates.

With every breath release some energy.

Gain some clarity.

And transform your nerves of steel into nerves of light.

Oh no,

Why did I say that?

How could they do that?

How is she looking?

What was he thinking?

What was he thinking?

Did you notice any judgmental thoughts passing by in your mind lately?

Maybe you invited them for tea.

Maybe you even believed these criticizing voices and thought they were your own voices.

They are just part of the armor.

Part of the strategy you have been training without knowing.

That offense is the best defense.

It's of course very far from the truth.

The real you aren't these judgments.

These are just something you picked up on the way.

When we judge others,

We judge ourselves by the same harsh attitude.

And when we judge ourselves,

We open the door for the judgment of others to make us company.

And judgments make a poor company.

So let's invite them anyway.

Invite them for a cup of tea.

Open your inner door.

But make sure that you send invitation from the heart.

Because these harsh voices need a lot of warm tea.

A lot of love.

And when you sit down with these judgments,

Make sure to remember that you are always doing your best.

Considering the circumstances.

Even when you do fail.

When others fail and make mistakes.

We are all doing our best.

Sometimes we are not informed.

Sometimes we are wrongly informed.

Sometimes we are tired.

Not in our prime form.

You always have circumstances to consider.

And so does everyone else.

When you are caught in the stream of judgments and it feels hopeless.

Because you are just so bad at everything you know.

But no,

Feel the ground underneath you.

Let your favorite animal remind you.

That you are always,

Always doing your utmost to make the best choices.

The best actions for everyone.

That's a pretty bold undertaking.

We are a few billion beings on this planet after all.

So drop your standards.

They are not lifting you up like you think.

They are just holding you back.

You know this.

Maybe pressure makes diamonds.

But space makes planets.

Full of life.

Give yourself some space.

To live life.

Free of judgments.

It's worth a try.

Try it.

You are breathing the best you can right now.

You are thinking the best you can right now.

You are resting the best you can right now.

Congratulations.

You have finished day 17.

You did the best you could.
