Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position,
However that looks for you today.
Close your eyes or take a soft gaze,
And let's take two deep breaths together.
Begin by exhaling fully,
And then take a deep inhale,
Feeling the belly rise and chest expand.
Hold at the top,
And then exhale fully out the mouth.
One more time,
Deep inhale,
Filling all the way up,
And long,
Slow exhale,
Releasing.
Take a moment now to pause and allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
Relax your forehead,
The corners of your eyes,
Let the tongue fall from the roof of the mouth.
Drop the shoulders back and down,
Soften the belly,
And feel your seat rooted to the earth beneath you.
Let's become aware of our breath now.
Notice the rise and fall wherever you feel it greatest.
Trust that your breath is always there for you.
Trusting is like finding serenity in the midst of chaos.
You can learn to trust your body,
Your breath,
And the present moment.
Trusting invites you to let go of resistance and embrace the beauty of what is.
Let go of everything you think you know,
And set aside your fear of the unknown.
When disappointment arises,
Notice and observe it gently.
Then close your eyes and breathe towards the light within you,
And trust that you can always return to your breath.
