Welcome,
Dear one.
This meditation is part of the Reclaim Your Worth series,
A gentle journey back to yourself,
One step at a time.
You can move through these meditations in order or simply return to the one you need in any given moment.
Today,
We gently begin to soften self-judgment and meet ourselves with a little more compassion.
So take a moment now to settle into a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to feel supported.
Gently close your eyes if you feel safe to do so or soften your gaze Start by simply noticing the space around you.
The subtle sounds.
The temperature of the air.
And the natural rhythm of your breath moving through it all.
Breathing in,
And breathing out.
Let each breath be a reminder that you have arrived.
You are here.
There is nothing to solve in this moment and nowhere else you're required to be.
As you settle,
Feel your shoulders drop away from your ears Let the muscles in your face grow heavy and smooth.
And now gently begin to notice how you speak to yourself.
The tone of your inner voice.
The words you use.
The expectations you place on yourself.
You might notice moments of self-criticism Moments of harshness.
Or pressure to be different.
There's nothing to judge here.
Even the part of you that is being harsh.
See if you can meet that part with curiosity rather than frustration.
It's just a habit you've learned to keep yourself safe.
Just continue to notice.
Let you become aware of this.
See if you can begin to soften.
Just slightly.
Not forcing anything Not pushing anything away.
Just allowing a little space.
And if it feels okay.
You might place a hand gently over your heart.
Or somewhere that feels comforting.
And simply feel that contact.
That connection.
And in your own way,
You might gently say to yourself,
I can be a little kinder to myself.
And again I can be a little kinder to myself.
If kindness feels too far away right now.
You might simply try,
I'm willing to be less hard on myself in this moment.
Let those words land softly without needing them to feel perfect.
Just allow yourself the possibility.
You are allowed to be human.
You're allowed to make mistakes.
You're allowed to not have everything figured out.
You're allowed to put down the heavy weight of performing.
You're allowed to be messy,
To be tired.
See if you can let that in,
Even just a little bit.
Now bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feeling each inhale.
And each exhale.
Letting your breath support you.
And with each breath allowing a little more softness.
A little more gentleness.
There's nothing you need to fix right now.
Nothing you need to become.
Just this quiet moment of being with yourself in a different way.
Stay here for a few more breaths.
Resting in your body.
Resting in your breath.
Resting into this sense of softening.
As we come to the end of this meditation.
Begin to gently bring movement back into your body.
When you feel ready,
Wiggling your fingers wiggling your toes.
Taking a slightly deeper breath in.
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes.
Take a moment before you move on.
To notice how it feels to meet yourself with a little more compassion.
If you'd like to continue.
.
.
You might explore day six where we gently begin to reconnect with your worth from within.
But for now.
.
.
Just stay with yourself exactly as you are.
Namaste.
