Hello,
Paschal Indy here.
Here's a short mindfulness practice designed to help us cultivate presence,
Relaxation and awareness.
So first of all,
Finding a comfortable sitting,
Standing or lying position and taking a few nice long deep breaths.
And then allowing the breath to settle into its own natural rhythm.
And then allowing the breath to settle into its own natural rhythm.
And following along lightly with our attention.
And now expanding your awareness to include whatever arises in your experience.
Allowing sights,
Sounds,
Sensations,
Thoughts,
Feelings.
Remaining aware of whatever arises without getting caught up in any of it.
And if at any point you get distracted or feel a bit groundless,
You can simply let go and come back to the breath.
Perhaps stabilizing yourself on the breath for a few moments before releasing again into an open awareness of whatever arises.
Simply being.
Let's continue for a few more minutes in silence.
So we're simply aware of whatever arises.
And when we get lost in thoughts,
We notice,
We come back to the breath,
Centre ourselves again.
And then if we like,
Open our awareness up again to whatever arises.
And if you wish,
You can continue,
Perhaps taking a few moments during your day to expand your awareness and just allow whatever comes to come and go.
Without getting caught up in any of it.
Thanks for taking time to reconnect.
