Hello friends,
This is Padma,
And I want to welcome you to this short practice.
So let's begin by finding a place where you can settle in,
Sit or lie down.
Let your body know it has somewhere safe to be for the next few minutes.
You are safe.
You are safe and held.
Let's take a breath in through the nose.
Letting it out slowly through your mouth And again,
In through the nose.
And out through the mouth,
Just feeling how the breath quickly and easily begins to relax you and everything can slow down.
Feel the body soften.
And just let everything relax.
Let everything relax.
I would like you to bring to mind.
Something that you've been carrying.
A truth you have not yet said.
For some reason,
There's a sentence.
That has been waiting somewhere in your body.
For the bright moment,
The right moment,
And the courage to share.
What has not yet been spoken.
This is an unspoken truth.
An unspoken truth.
See what bubbles up.
You don't have to know what to do with it,
And you don't have to plan how you're going to say it.
Just take a moment and notice.
And it's there.
And I'd like you to place a hand on the part of your body where you feel that unspoken truth.
That sentence.
That has been previously unsaid.
Where is it living?
Maybe it's in your chest or perhaps in your throat.
Or maybe it's in your belly.
Bring your awareness to that part of your body.
And breathe gently.
Into that place.
You don't have to do anything else.
Just breathe and bring awareness.
What you're carrying is real,
Friend.
The fact that you have not yet said it doesn't mean that it doesn't matter.
It does.
It means that it's waiting for the right moment to be honored.
The right moment to be shared.
Feel what's here Take one more breath in and let it out.
And then slowly,
Slowly.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this small acknowledgement with you into the rest of your day.
I want to thank you for spending this time with me,
Dear friend.
You can find more of my work through my profile.
Sending love and blessings to you.
Love and blessings to you.
And I look forward to being with you again soon.
