Welcome to your meditation.
Get into a comfortable position,
Starting to relax the physical body,
Dropping into awareness of where you are and how your body feels.
Wiggling the fingers,
Wiggling the toes,
Moving the head and neck from side to side,
Starting to settle into a comfortable position.
Starting at the tips of the toes,
Let us relax each and every part of the physical body,
Drawing energetic awareness and attention to each space,
Removing any stagnation,
Any tension.
If you feel the need,
Clenching the muscles and then releasing to achieve actual relaxation and release.
Drawing our awareness to the tips of the toes,
The bottom of the feet,
The top of the feet,
The ankles,
Feeling the physical body start to weigh more and more and more as if you're dropping down deeper and deeper and deeper as if you're going down and down and down,
Heavier and heavier and heavier.
Your breath is starting to slow,
Your relaxation is moving up your legs,
Next your calf and your shins,
Your knees and your thighs,
Feeling the presence in each and every one of these spaces,
In each and every one of these places.
Deep relaxation is forming in your physical body,
Deep awareness of your physical vessel is coming to you,
Feeling the presence in your hips and your back,
Your belly and your baby,
Your lungs and your heart,
Your rib cage,
Your chest,
Feeling the presence in your arms,
Down to the elbow,
Down to the forearm,
Down each and every finger,
Relaxing and releasing every physical part of your body,
Feeling tension dissipate,
Feeling stress dissipate,
Feeling all of our stress hormones lowering and lowering and lowering,
Becoming present in this moment and only this moment,
Connecting with your body and your baby,
Connecting with the support that your partner offers you,
Sinking deeper and deeper and deeper into relaxation,
Going down and down and down into deep energetic release,
Feeling the stress released from your neck,
From your jaw,
Dropping the tongue from the roof of your mouth,
Feeling relaxation in your cheeks,
In your ears,
In your eyes,
In your eyelids,
From your eyebrows to your forehead to your entire skull,
Feeling the very tip top of your head in deep relaxation,
Letting go of anything that doesn't serve you,
Feeling your fears melt away,
Feeling any judgment,
Concern or lack melting away,
Dropping into presence and feeling your entire physical body calm,
Connected and present,
Join me in some active breath,
First breathing in through the nose,
Holding the breath at the top gently,
Releasing through parted lips,
If it serves you making an audible gentle sigh,
Let us do five intentional breaths like this,
Starting with breath number one,
Breathing in through your nose,
A nice gentle in breath,
When you reach the top of your breath,
Holding your breath for just a moment and then releasing through parted lips,
Potentially with an audible sigh and breath number two,
Breathing in through the nose,
Filling the lungs,
Filling the belly,
Filling the diaphragm,
Locking that breath at the top for just a moment and releasing,
Breath number three,
Breathing in through the nose,
Feeling the lungs,
Filling the belly,
Filling the chest,
Filling the diaphragm,
Locking the breath at the top and releasing,
Breath number four,
Breathing in through the nose,
Rolling the shoulders back,
Opening the heart space,
Connecting with your baby,
With your belly,
With your partner,
Feeling that new life force,
That new oxygen within the body,
Locking at the top and releasing when it serves you and for our last intentional breath,
Breathing in through the nose,
Feeling the freshness,
The newness of this present moment,
Locking at the top,
Holding all of that delicious goodness in and releasing,
Placing your hands and feeling potentially your partner's hands on your belly,
Offering your intentions to your little one,
Sending love,
Connection,
Sending health and presence,
Feeling deeply connected to your baby,
To your partner,
Feeling deeply relaxed and connected in your physical vessel,
Knowing that you are meant for this,
That you are divinely capable of this process to connect,
To relax,
To move through the phases of pregnancy and labor and birth.
There is so much here for you,
So much support,
So much connection,
So much magic.
Elongating the spine,
Easing into your physical presence,
Feeling your hands gently on your belly,
Dropping into awareness to the little one that grows within you,
Connecting to them,
Sending them love and focus and intention,
Sending them health and happiness,
Connecting,
Allowing everything else to fade away,
The edges of the room,
Any noises that are around you,
Anyone else besides you and your baby and your partner,
Knowing that you have access to this space,
This deeply connected space where you are surrounded by light and love and support whenever it serves you,
Breathing in through your nose,
Filling the lungs,
Filling the belly,
Filling the diaphragm,
Sending that oxygen to your baby,
Sending that vitality to your baby.
When you're ready,
Releasing,
Thanking yourself for carving out time to connect with your body,
Connect with your baby and connect with your partner,
Knowing that any time you crave a little bit of presence,
A little bit of intention,
A little bit of stress relief,
That you can come back to this meditation,
That you can focus on yourself,
Release any of the stress hormone in your body and come back to a place of center and support.
When you are ready,
Coming out of this place,
Coming out of this space,
Wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes,
Moving your head and neck from side to side,
Gently coming back into this place,
Coming back into this space,
Expressing gratitude for yourself.
