Welcome my friend this is Brianna with Bright Avian and today we have self-compassion in action.
So let's sit comfortably with our spine up straight,
Our feet are flat on the floor,
The body is relaxed,
We soften the gaze or close the eyes and we'll start today with a hug.
If this is the first time you're hugging yourself it might feel a little unusual but it's worth it.
And I hope you feel awesome by the end of it.
So let's cross the right arm on the top of the left one and just give ourselves a hug.
And we will start with some breathing through the nose,
Deep deep inhale and deep exhale through the mouth,
Deep inhale through the nose and completely exhaling through the mouth.
Inhale deeply through the nose and exhale completely through the mouth.
Two more times,
Breathing through the nose and sigh it out.
And one last time,
Deep inhale through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.
We'll switch the arms,
Left goes on top,
Deep breath in through the nose and deep breath out through the nose again.
Deep breath in through the nose deep breath out through the nose,
Settling in,
In a hugging,
In a loving manner.
Deep breath in through the nose and deep breath out through the nose.
Two more times,
Deep breath in through the nose and deep breath out through the nose.
And one last time,
Deep breath in through the nose and deep breath out through the nose.
Release the fog,
Say thank you arms for hugging me.
It did feel amazing.
Breathe in through the nose normally,
Breathe out through the nose normally.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
We'll start our meditation today with asking ourselves silently the question,
What would I do if I were my beloved one?
Ask yourself silently and listen.
What would I do if I were my beloved one?
Release the question and any answers or feelings or emotions that may have come up.
Breathe in through the nose,
Breathe out through the nose,
Breathe in through the nose,
Breathe out through the nose.
We will continue our meditation with the silent repetition of the mantra.
Om dana nana.
If the Sanskrit mantra doesn't resonate with you today,
You can just repeat silently to yourself charity,
Charity,
Charity,
Charity.
Om dana nana.
Please continue the silent repetition of the mantra easily and effortlessly.
At the beginning at the end of the meditation,
You'll hear a soft chime.
Om dana nana.
Om dana nana.
Charity,
Charity.
Om dana nana.
Om dana nana.
Please keep your eyes closed.
If they were closed,
Release the repetition of the mantra.
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
We will close our meditation today with setting the intention silently.
I am the giver and the receiver of compassion.
Repeat it silently to yourself.
I am the giver and the receiver of compassion.
Release the intention,
Allow the universe to fulfill it in its own ways.
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
As it feels comfortable,
Please open your eyes.
Thank you for joining me for this lovely meditation.
I hope you enjoyed it.
If you would like to take it a step further,
I would ask you to just do something today for yourself in an act of self-compassion.
It may be something that you love,
Like let's say a bubble bath or reading a nice book or smelling the flowers,
Something that it really brings joy to yourself,
To your heart.
And it's just an act of kindness to yourself.
And let me know what did you choose if you choose to do that act of kindness for yourself in the comments below.
Thank you so much for joining me and sharing your meditation with me.
I've referenced that to you.
Namaste.
