Welcome my friend,
This is Brianna with Bright Avian and today our self-compassion journey brings us to self-compassion in thought practice.
Let's sit comfortably with our spine up straight,
The body is relaxed and the feet are flat on the floor in any comfortable position.
We soften our gaze or close the eyes and we will start our practice with,
You can choose whether you give yourself a hug or you do a self-massage,
It's up to you.
If I will choose a hug,
So I'll place the right arm on top of the left one and I'll hug myself.
I'll breathe deeply through the nose and side out through the mouth,
Deep breath in through the nose and breathe out through the mouth.
Or maybe a little bit of self-massage would feel good.
The shoulder blades need some love.
Breat246 th in through the nose,
Breath out through the mouth,
Breath in through the nose and breath out through the mouth.
One last time,
Breath in through the nose,
Breath out through the mouth,
Switch our arms whether you're at a self massage or a hug.
Left goes on top and we continue with deep breathing through the nose inhale in and exhale through the nose and breathe in through the nose and breathe out through the nose mixing and matching whatever serves today breathe in breathe out breathe in through the nose breathe out through the nose one last deep breath in through the nose and breathe out through the nose release the hug or the self massage whatever you chose it was the right one for you today breathe in normally through the nose breathe out normally through the nose breathe in through the nose breathe out through the nose we'll start our meditation we're silently asking ourselves the following question what would I ask myself if I were to replace self-judgment with curiosity what would I ask myself if I were to replace self-judgment with curiosity ask yourself and listen you release the question and any answers that may have come breathe in through the nose breathe out through the nose breathe in breathe out we'll continue our meditation with the Sanskrit mantra dhanuham dhanuham dhanuham repeat it silently to yourself easily and effortlessly dhanuham dhanuham you can also choose the English phrase I am compassion itself I am compassion itself dhanuham dhanuham continue the silent repetition of the mantra at the beginning at the end of the meditation you'll hear a soft chime dhanuham dhanuham you you you please keep your eyes closed release the repetition of the mantra breathe into the nose breathe out breathe in breathe out well close our meditation today with setting the intention silently I am free of self-judgment I am free of self-judgment repeat it silently to yourself a few times release the intention allow the universe to take it from here breathe in breathe out breathe in breathe out as it feels comfortable please open your eyes if they were closed thank you my friend for sharing your meditation and energy with me the exploration of self compassion I hope it benefited you if you would like to take a step further today as a bonus question I would ask you to choose a self-belief that you have and ask yourself what if that self-belief was false just one belief that is not serving you that well and ask what if it was false see what comes listen I reverence bow to you namaste
