Welcome my friend,
This is Brianna with Bright Avian and I'm super thrilled to be meditating with you today.
We have a reflecting,
Nurturing,
Calming practice today dedicated and inspired by the Moon.
And as the Moon is often associated with the water element,
I brought the glass of water with me today to celebrate you,
To celebrate me,
To celebrate us meditating together.
If you would like to join me,
Feel free to pause the recording,
Grab a glass of water and let's cheer to meditating together here and now.
Cheers.
Are you ready to chill with me?
I'm ready to chill with you.
So let's get started.
Let's sit comfortably with our spine up straight.
The body is relaxed in a comfortable position and we have one of our palms facing up towards the sky and the other one facing down towards the ground.
We can soften the gaze or close the eyes and we will place our attention in the middle of our forehead between the eyebrows where the third eye point is.
And we'll just notice how it feels.
What are the sensations,
If any?
Just for a moment,
Place your attention there.
Notice.
We'll start our meditation with a cooling breath.
We'll inhale for four,
We'll exhale for six.
Breathe in through the nose for nothing and breathe out through the nose for nothing.
Breathe in for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Pause.
Notice the air in your chest and exhale from the nose for six,
Five,
Relax your whole body,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Pause.
Notice the life force in your body and exhale for six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Relax your legs,
One.
Breathe in for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Pause.
Notice the energy in your body,
Joy of breathing and exhale for six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Relax your arms,
Your face,
One.
And last time,
Breathe in for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Pause.
Notice what it is to feel alive today.
And exhale for six,
Five,
Four,
Relax your forehead,
Your cheeks,
Your face muscles,
Two,
One.
Breathe in for nothing,
Breathe out for nothing.
And notice the third eye point after the breathing.
Is it anyhow different?
Is it the same?
How does it feel?
Let that go.
And we'll continue our meditation with an image of a pond or a lake on a warm summer night.
You're sitting by the side,
Relaxing and tapping your toes in the water.
You're safe and just enjoying the coolness that comes from the water surface.
And as you sit and relax,
Something inside you,
A curiosity spikes and asks you to lean forward and look at the water surface.
And as you're looking down,
Ask yourself,
Who am I?
Who am I?
Ask yourself silently and be open to whatever comes.
Release whatever has come and continue to look down at the surface of the water.
Little waves that come.
And now ask yourself,
Which area of my whole being can use a little calmness,
A little nurturing?
Which area of my whole being can use a little calmness,
A little nurturing?
And listen to whatever comes.
If there's more than one inside,
Take it,
Accept it,
Put it on the side and ask again silently and continue to listen.
Release that question.
Breathe in through the nose.
Breathe out through the nose.
Breathe in through the nose.
Breathe out through the nose.
We will now continue with the mantra Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Often this mantra is chanted out loud as a desire to bring the qualities of the moon into our life.
The reflection,
The coolness,
The nurturing,
The resting,
The feminine,
The softness and so forth.
We can chant it out loud or you can use it as a centering thought that brings you beyond the mind and into the silence.
If the mantra together doesn't resonate with you today,
You can choose the English phrase.
I reflect.
I reflect.
I reflect.
I'll guide us from the chanting out loud to the silent repetition and you choose what serves you today.
Breathe in.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Continue the repetition of the mantra at the beginning at the end of the meditation you'll hear a soft chime easily and effortlessly.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Aum Shreem Aum.
Please keep your eyes closed if they're closed.
Release the repetition of the mantra.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
We'll complete our meditation today with the intention.
My mind is a reflection of the best version of myself.
My higher self.
My soul.
My mind is a reflection of the best version of myself.
My higher self.
My soul.
Repeat it some of the two several few times.
Release the intention.
Allow the universe to fulfill it.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
If it feels comfortable,
Please open your eyes.
Thank you so much for joining me for this wonderful meditation.
