Are you worried about the future? It can be quite common to overthink the future to the point where your present suffers. Your experience in this moment can become dry and lifeless. This overthinking can come from the insecurity around the future. A barren hill of the present can certainly transform into a beautiful meadow which leads you into the future with the sweet smell of flowers(who doesnt love the smell of flowers?). It'll be grand, you will be okay! Enjoy!

Hello people,

Welcome to this meditation.

The future can be a scary place for some people.

The unknown,

The mind can wander into dark places and spin into destructive mindsets about things that haven't even happened or are likely to happen at all,

Bringing our minds and whole system down.

For now together we are just going to be here and harness the energy of sure luck.

It'll be grand,

There's no need to worry.

Closing the eyes if you already haven't,

Letting them rest here.

Your eyes do so much for us throughout the day,

Just giving them a break for now.

Going down,

Imagine you're pushing a heavy boulder.

This boulder represents the fears of the future,

Parts of the future that are unknown,

Uncertain and strenuous to your mind.

Will this happen?

Will that happen?

Will I fail?

Will I succeed?

These fears are having an impact on your body and mind as you push the boulder up the hill.

Your eyes for so long looking at the boulder you forgot about your mind and your body.

The very vessel that leads you into the future.

You've gotten used to the struggle of pushing these fears up that hill.

The dreaded question of what is going to happen is often the foundation of these fears.

Mind can speculate with this question,

Tries to protect you from future potential pain.

Current uncomfortable sensation motivates you from trying at all.

It's long-term plan is to try and protect you.

Rule of fear is to protect your mortality,

Both physically and psychologically.

This very protection can make you feel stuck and exhausted as you push the boulder up the hill and is very attached to the fear in which it has created.

This and this frees you to make a decision.

Go of the fears and the boulder.

Part of the mind that creates the fear is fearful of letting go of the fears.

But you know you must let go of the boulder,

Move forward.

Even if the fearful mind revolts and you feel uncomfortable,

Be there.

It's okay to feel that.

It's actually completely understandable,

Perfectly normal.

Don't reject the fearful mind.

It is only doing what it knows best.

Look out for potential dangers.

Love the fearful mind.

Offer it compassion.

It's okay.

Resistance will only aggravate letting go and stepping aside.

This in turn lets go of all of the fear inside of yourself.

The whole definition of fear is gone.

As you see the boulder,

What's left is just the sensations of your body.

Whether comfortable or uncomfortable,

It's just sensation.

Your body feels so much lighter.

You think to yourself,

Sure luck,

I'll be grand.

A feeling of relief and gratitude sweeps over you.

What a feeling.

The barren hill then turns into a wonderful meadow filled with magnificent flowers which give off a sweet scent.

The sun shines,

Lighting up everything in the meadow.

You walk around the meadow,

Down your feet and full of all the sensations your body has to offer.

You smile,

Embrace it all and say,

Sure luck,

It'll be grand.

As the future unfolds in front of your eyes,

Your body moves with the time.

Nothing but sensation.

Nothing but sensation.

Sit for a while in the meadow and let it all in.

Our lives as natural curiosity springs from pursuits to pursuits.

The future unfolds before our eyes.

Trust me when I say,

As this meditation comes to an end,

Let's just wake our bodies back up.

You're yourself to have the patience to come back.

There is no rush.

Transformations from barren landscapes,

Beautiful meadows,

Focusing too much on the future,

Present,

The very barren land,

The void of any natural life.

How the future to unfold as nature intended.

And when you're ready,

Opening your eyes.

Thank you for listening.

Have a great day.
