Welcome to your heart center meditation.
This meditation includes three parts heart breaths,
Heart stillness and heart awareness.
Let's begin by turning our attention inward.
Take a moment to take a deep breath in.
Hold.
And exhale.
Release all stress and tension.
For a moment,
Bring your attention to your body.
Noticing the left side of the body.
Relax.
Noticing the right side of the body.
As you relax.
Noticing the sensations.
In front of your body.
Relax.
Noticing the sensations on the back side of your body.
Relaxing your whole body.
Starting from your head.
Softening your mind.
Move your attention from your head.
Dropping into your heart.
And soften your heart.
Occupy your entire heart space with your attention.
Let yourself be relaxed in the center of your heart.
As we begin,
Three heart breaths.
If you wish,
Place a hand on your heart.
This will allow you to feel the energy of your heart.
And begin breathing in through the back of the heart.
Pausing.
I am peace.
And breathing out from the front of the heart.
I am calm.
Breathing in from the back of the heart.
Pausing at the top.
Feeling stillness.
Peace.
Breathing out from the front of the heart.
Calm.
And then breathing in all the way through the back of the heart.
Breathing into stillness at the center of the heart.
Peace.
Finding a moment of stillness.
Breathing out from the front of the heart.
Calm.
Now continue taking three more heart breaths as you notice the shift as you melt into the stillness of your heart.
Become aware of your breath.
Breathing in peace.
Breathing out calm.
Now imagine a candle flame at the center of your heart.
Feeling more and more still.
Burning brightly.
See if you can envision the radiance of your own heart.
Allowing your heart center to soften and open.
Imagine letting yourself become present into the space within your heart.
Becoming aware of the presence of your heart.
Be completely still.
Slowly at peace.
And letting this deep peace fill your whole body,
Your mind,
And your energy.
Feel the candle flame at the center of your heart now becoming more and more steady.
Burning more brightly.
And from this place of stillness,
Let yourself feel the presence of your heart.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Let your whole body relax and become still.
Become aware of the importance of stillness.
Relaxing into the sense of deep inner stillness.
What is it like to be present in your heart?
Breathing in peace.
Breathing out calm.
Taking nice and easy heart breaths.
Practicing heart presence.
You can now imagine a sphere surrounding your heart,
Representing the energy and intelligence of your own heart.
Notice what it is like to relax into your heart space.
And to surrender to a sense of stillness.
Notice how calm the body becomes.
Notice how calm your nervous system becomes.
Let yourself reside in this place of calmness and stillness.
For three more heart breaths,
Breathing in peace and breathing out calm.
Notice what it is like to meditate on your heartfelt intentions.
