I welcome you to this meditation called Increasing Productivity Using Coherence.
My name is Saqib and in this meditation I will guide you through a process which has the potential to raise your productivity to another level.
Coherence is a phenomenon popularized by Institute of Heart Math and it occurs when your brain and heart function in alignment with each other.
Let me explain how we will use this concept in this meditation.
We human beings are driven by emotions.
We do almost everything due to and for emotions.
So if let's say you have some work to do and you only think about doing the work,
You are using only your brain to do the work.
Coherence would occur when you also involve your heart.
That is,
When you also feel the emotions associated with that work.
That is when you will make your brain and heart work in alignment.
And that is when you will be at your highest potential to do that work.
To experience how that works,
Let's dive into the meditation right away.
I would now request you to sit in a comfortable position with your back straight.
Now gradually close your eyes.
Bring your awareness to your surroundings.
Imagine the space that you are sitting in.
Feel the air touching your skin.
Feel the weight of your body.
The smell in the air.
And listen to the sounds around you.
Check if there are any thoughts in your mind right now.
Imagine these thoughts as bubbles,
Like soap bubbles,
Floating in front of you with each thought representing one bubble.
In your imagination,
Pop these bubbles of thoughts one by one with a slight touch of your finger,
Just in your imagination.
And now that you have cleared your mind,
Imagine a ball of white light rotating at the center of your chest.
This is your heart center,
Which represents the energy of your heart.
Keep your awareness at your heart center.
And now breathe in and out of your heart center.
As you breathe in,
Feel the air rotating your heart center.
And as you breathe out,
Maintain your focus at your heart center.
Let's start then.
Take a deep breath in.
Feel your heart center filling with air.
And exhale.
Take at least five more deep breaths in and out of your heart center.
And exhale.
And exhale.
And exhale.
And now place both your hands at your heart center.
And the center of your chest.
And now remember someone whom you love a lot or remember some event in the past that made you really happy.
Feel the love for that person or happiness due to that event in your heart.
Feel your heart filling with love and bliss.
Continue placing your hands on your heart center.
And now think of some work that is really important to you and that you want to complete in the near future.
Why do you want this work to be completed?
What feeling will it give you once that work is done?
Is that feeling happiness?
Satisfaction?
Love?
Peace?
Confidence?
What is it?
What is that feeling?
Visualize what that situation will look like.
Where will you be?
What will you be doing?
Now feel that emotion right now in your heart.
Feel that happiness in your heart that you will get once that work is done.
And now you can rest your hands.
Bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Feel the presence of your body.
The sounds around you.
And now wiggle your toes and move your fingers.
And gradually open your eyes.
Now you are emotionally charged and in a state of coherence to get that work done.
So carry this coherence with you and be victorious.
