This meditation is an invitation to gently turn toward the shadows within.. the quiet fears, hidden griefs, and unspoken stories that linger beneath the surface. Rather than resisting or judging them, we begin by simply allowing them to be seen. In the soft light of awareness, what once felt heavy or frightening can begin to loosen and transform. As we sit together in stillness, we discover that even our darkest corners are asking not to be erased, but to be understood and embraced.

Transcript

Let's settle into a comfortable position.

Let your shoulders soften,

Your jaw relax and your breath become natural.

Take a slow inhale and an easy exhale.

Begin by noticing any heaviness,

Tension or quiet emotional shadows within you.

No need to judge them or push them away.

Just acknowledge their presence.

Shadows are really only the disowned parts of ourselves.

The traits,

Desires or emotions you have suppressed because you have deemed them bad or unacceptable.

With each breath allow yourself to sit with these shadows as you would sit with something temporary,

Passing and human.

Feel your breath gently touching the places inside you that feel unsure,

Tender or hidden.

As you continue to breathe notice how simply observing these shadows begins to loosen their edges.

There's no force,

No fixing,

Only awareness and softening.

Let the breath move through you like a quiet tide,

In and out,

Steadily.

Shadows aren't evil,

They are simply just unloved energy seeking expression.

As these shadows soften further,

Repeat silently.

What I face,

I free.

What I accept,

Dissolves.

What I face,

I free.

What I accept,

Dissolves.

What I face,

I free.

What I accept,

Dissolves.

What I accept,

Dissolves.

Breathe into that truth.

Allow a sense of space to open inside you.

A little lighter,

A little freer.

As the shadows fade into softness.

Take one more slow breath.

Exhale fully,

Letting go of anything ready to release.

What I face,

I free.

What I face,

I free.

What I accept,

Dissolves.

When you are ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes and gently open your eyes.

Have a beautiful day.
