A Short Mediation For Healing

Healing is a lot of work, be patient and persistent. Healing takes courage and we all have courage even if we need to dig really deep to find it. Although healing is a process, we can help speed it up by getting a good night's rest, nourishing our bodies, focusing on positive thoughts and even crying if we need to. You might say crying is just annoying, it doesn't do anything! It however sure does, when you empty yourself out, you can fill it with something else. So let's silence our minds and let the soul find the answers to heal us today!

Let's begin in a comfortable seated position or lying down.

Close your eyes and begin to breathe slowly.

I would now like to introduce a simple breathing technique to focus the mind.

It's called square breathing.

Start by inhaling for the counts of four,

Then hold for the counts of four.

Exhale for the counts of four,

And then hold for the counts of four.

And repeat.

Inhale,

Hold,

Exhale,

Hold.

And again.

Inhale,

Hold,

Exhale,

And hold.

Square breathing is a simple,

Easy and effective way to calm yourself whenever you feel fear or tension within your body.

Healing is to be in the light of consciousness.

Healing is an inner light which exists as a natural radiance around a person.

This inner light disperses darkness,

Like when you light a candle in a dark room and the darkness disappears.

This inner light exudes a subtle influence through its mere presence.

The more the light in our consciousness is lit,

The more it creates a subtle effect in the world.

The more consciousness you bring into your body,

The stronger your immune system becomes.

It's as if every cell awakens and rejoices.

Your body loves your attention and it's also a potent form of healing.

Every next level of your life will demand a different version of you.

Brilliant things happen in calm minds,

So be calm,

Be brilliant.

And now taking a deep breath in,

Slowly come back to this gentle awareness of your heart.

Witnessing the internal and external sensations.

Inhale and exhale out.

Notice how you feel.

Notice the energy that is released.

Notice the energy you brought forward.

Simply notice without judgment.

Remember you are safe,

You are sacred,

You are loved and you are loved.

Go ahead and place your hands together in prayer position.

Bow down to your own heart,

Sending gratitude for your strength and dedication to your own well-being.

May you have a beautiful rest of your day or evening.
