Good morning.
There is a space that lives between waking and sleep,
A soft blurred realm where the edges of things haven't quite formed yet.
You're still a little inside the dream,
Still floating somewhere between what was and what's coming.
Let's stay here for a little while longer and slowly wake up the body before the day sharpens into full focus.
Before anything or anyone can ask anything of you.
Let your body stay exactly as it is,
Wherever it's resting,
There's nowhere to be yet.
Just here,
Drifting,
Held.
Let your eyes stay closed,
Soft.
We're going to breathe in slowly.
Like you're gathering the air,
Feeling light.
In through the nose,
All the way down to the belly.
Pause,
Holding this air in.
And gently letting it go even more slowly.
As it releases from the body.
Again,
We'll take a breath in.
And out unhurried no place to rush to And in this hazy in-between place,
Sometimes anxiety,
Stress,
Cortisol can spike.
But also it's a pause and a chance for you to become quiet,
To become still before the day has the chance to take any shape you get to gently choose the feeling you want to move through it with.
It's not deciding like a forceful decision.
It feels more of a remembering.
As if some part of you is slowly waking up.
Some part of you already knows how you want to glide through the rest of the day.
Let an intention start to float up softly however it wants to arrive.
Maybe it's ease,
Warmth,
Steadiness,
Wonder.
Strength,
Peace,
Whatever word comes to mind of however you want to move through the rest of the day,
Breathe that in.
Gently exhale out the anxiety,
The stress.
Let the word become a feeling and let it settle into you like light filling a room slowly corner by corner if your word is ease,
Feel your body supported and held by everything beneath you If your word is peace,
Gently let the stress melt away into a puddle.
If your word is strength,
Feel all of the cells in the body build their resiliency to take on the day.
You Let the anxiety melt off of us by breathing in through the nose,
Filling the belly with air.
And at the top,
Taking another sip of breath in.
Gently exhaling,
Letting everything go.
We release everything that's heavy that's holding us back And we just start to fully embody that we can live this day how we want to live it.
That any of our past limitations,
Perspectives,
Mindsets,
Those do not have to exist and keep us chained to old versions and paths.
We can start to free ourselves.
With their own energy.
Feeling that fire in our roots building up through the body as we start the day.
Feeling all the cells start to come alive.
You And feeling the energy that you want to carry through the day resonate throughout the whole body.
Maybe it starts to tingle.
And as you imagine yourself moving through this day,
Still impacted and touched by this feeling,
Not performing it,
But softly being shaped by it.
In the way that you speak,
The way that you move,
The way you meet yourself.
Gently.
When perhaps something doesn't go as planned.
It's already inside you,
It's within you,
It's around you.
You're just remembering and waking up.
To this feeling of choice,
Of intention.
Breathe in once more.
And let the rest go.
Anything that no longer feels like a priority or that it matters,
We just let that melt and we fill ourselves up with our deepest intention,
Love,
Joy,
Compassion,
And we let that move us through the day.
When you're ready to take on this day,
You can let a little movement return to the fingers,
The toes.
Head can start to sway gently rocking side to side.
Let the edges of the room soften back into view.
And you can let your eyes open gently.
Still buzzing faintly with the feeling you chose,
Thanking yourself for showing up this morning.
With an excitement to move through the day.
Thank you for being here.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
And I hope to see you again tomorrow to continue building on your intention.
With love and gratitude.
