Thank you for joining me in this joy meditation.

This meditation is always here for you when you need it.

So feel free to practice this for the next 21 days to elevate joy in your life.

We as humans feel the full spectrum of emotions.

The anger,

The fear,

The sadness,

The elation,

The contentment,

The peace,

The joy.

When we only focus on joy as the laughing,

Smiling emotion,

We forget about the subtle joy that comes from the beauty of having any emotion at all.

The delicate joy of watching a layer of ourselves emerge as we so intensely feel.

The joy of filling our lungs with fresh air,

Signaling we get another moment in this life.

Another moment to create memories.

Another moment to connect with others.

Another moment to delve deeper within ourselves.

Joy is not a stand-alone emotion.

We can feel deep sadness shaking in the depths of our wounds and still feel that flicker of joy that we're human,

That we can feel that we're alive,

That our tears can be healing and a reminder of our values,

Of who we truly are.

Remember this joy as it underlies every movement,

Every emotion,

Every experience.

The joy of simply being here on this earth,

Living through this journey,

Feeling whatever it is we want to feel,

Doing whatever it is we want to do,

Being whoever it is we want to be.

Breathe that in.

Feel into yourself,

Into the deepest depths of your being and gently smile to yourself a nod to your highest self and being.

Often we can embrace this root joy.

We can fully experience the bright,

Radiant joy of cackling until our stomachs hurt,

Smiling at strangers,

Feeling like you're going to burst from excitement,

A prominent reminder of the stillness,

Silliness,

And lightness on our journey.

A reminder that there's joy everywhere if we so seek it,

A reminder that when we've felt heavy for so long,

There is a weightlessness that comes from letting go,

From stepping into discomfort,

From allowing yourself to feel the lightheartedness of feeling alive.

Take a moment here,

Breathe in,

And let go of anything that's holding you down.

Can you surrender and trust that joy is always there for you?

And if you're not feeling joyous,

Can you trust that it's coming around the corner for you?

The ups and downs of life are basic necessity of our being.

We can't feel pure,

Elated joy without feeling the depths of feeling low.

From stepping into discomfort,

From allowing ourselves to feel the lightheartedness of feeling alive,

When our energy feels dense and we feel like we're at the lowest of the low,

Remind yourself that lightness is always coming.

It's on the upswing,

Waiting to be felt.

We simply have to allow ourselves to step into it,

To free ourselves from any chains holding us down from flying high.

Are there any chains that you can let go of right here,

Right now?

Any thoughts,

Any stories that are holding you back from receiving this joy?

Embodying all that you are,

Letting go,

Surrendering of that feeling of not being good enough and tapping into your true self that knows your worth and knows that you are.

And when it all feels too hard,

Remember the beauty in this journey,

The beauty of the pendulum swing of emotions,

The excitement and joy in this precious present moment,

And the elation that comes with having no idea what comes next,

The spontaneity,

The unknown.

Remember that joy is always there for you.

It is you that must choose to see its presence.

Thank you so much for joining me today in this meditation.

Feel free to sit in silence and soak this all in and come back to this meditation whenever you need to.

It's always here for you.

And I look forward to guiding you in another meditation soon.

Much love.
