To be grateful brings us out of our heads and into our hearts.

It slows down our perception of time.

It allows us to feel.

Gratitude is not a thought,

It's a resonance in our being.

A satisfying and fulfilling love that finds its way to every cell in your body and lights you with joy.

A heaviness fades away and is replaced with the sensation that makes you feel light,

Airy,

As if you could float away into the clouds.

Looking down on all of the people,

Places,

And things you so adore.

When you feel yourself yearning for what's ahead or rehashing what's behind,

Trying to escape the reality of the present.

Gratitude is the way back to the now.

A reminder that what you have around you is what you once so deeply desired.

A gentle nudge that your newest desires are on its way to you.

A reminder that at the core of what you truly want,

You already have inside of you and around you.

To be alive is to be grateful for your breath.

And to breathe is to give life to the world.

When your mind becomes jumbled,

Confused,

And afraid,

Come back to this breath.

Breathe in and release.

Exhale.

This breath of life,

This breath that feeds your heart the calming,

Gently joyous sensation of gratitude.

It can be easy to speak words of appreciation and write what you're grateful for.

But true gratitude lives within the crevices of your heart.

True gratitude yearns to be felt.

Tap into your heart.

Feel it awaken as you become grateful for all that you currently have.

Feel the depth of your love for the people,

Places,

And things in your life that are bringing you immense joy.

That feel like a gift to you.

That feel like home.

Hold on to this feeling.

Let it resonate all throughout your body,

Stemming from your heart and bursting through your veins,

To the top of your head,

To the flow of your arms,

To the tips of your toes.

Let it lift you higher.

Let it sustain you throughout the day ahead.

Let it lighten you.

Let it soften you.

And let this deep feeling gratitude with this deep knowing of your true self.

Let it wash over you.

Take in this moment right here,

Breathing it in and letting it go.

Can you tune into the sensations of your body,

Into this gratitude,

Into this joy,

Into this love?

Take a moment to see how you're feeling.

If there's any tingling,

Just take notice of what's happening in your body.

Let go anything that you're clinging on to that's bringing you frustration.

Slowly surrender to this gratitude for all that you already have and all that will be coming to you.

If you're having a bad day,

Remember that there is always beauty present if we choose to see it.

In the depths of the moments that feel too hard,

Can you become ever so present to the beauty and the intensity of the emotion itself?

The beauty that you can feel so deeply that you are human,

That you are alive,

And that you can live this vibrant radical life.

This gratitude for all of these emotions will set you free.

Lean into the surrender.

Lean into the gratitude.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

This meditation is here for you whenever you need it.

Take a moment,

Breathe it all in.

Thank you again for joining and I hope to see you again on any of my meditations soon.

Much love.
