Sit up straight in your chair,

Shoulders and hips.
Lay down flat on the floor,
Whatever is most comfortable for you.
As we align our body,
We prepare to align our mind to connect in with ourselves and who we truly are.
Begin to breathe slightly deeper than your normal breath.
Focusing on the in-breath and the out-breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Take a breath just slightly deeper.
Inhaling through your nose,
Holding for two at the top.
Breathing out,
Holding for two.
Repeating that pattern.
Breathing in,
Holding for two,
Breathing out,
Holding for two.
Repeating that pattern.
Taking that breath nice and deep.
Aligning your body with all the oxygen it needs.
Calming down your nervous system.
Preparing to go inward.
Today we're going to focus on mantras,
On speaking to ourselves in a way that's empowering.
Because the words we speak to ourselves are truth.
So we are going to focus on empowering ourselves,
On feeling good,
On believing in ourselves and trusting our own spirit-guided intuition.
Focusing on your breath for just a few more moments.
The in-breath and the out-breath.
I will say a phrase and you can repeat it out loud or in your mind.
And if these phrases don't resonate with you,
You will have a few moments to create your own mantras,
Your own beliefs.
Let's begin.

Breathing in the words,
Breathing them out.

Everything I need is in me already.

Repeating it over and over to yourself.
Because as you repeat it,
You solidify that belief within you.
Our thoughts are powerful.
And you can dictate how you believe in yourself.
These next few moments are for you.

Know that that's okay.
And just simply come back to your breath.
Honor yourself in this moment.
Know that the energy you give is the energy you will receive.
Take a big deep breath in as we did in the beginning.
Hold for two and breathe out.

Returning your breath to a normal,
Slightly deeper than normal cadence.
Focusing now on your breath.
The rising and falling of your chest.
The rising and falling of your belly.
And thanking yourself for giving yourself this time.
Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Waking up your body.
Blinking your eyes open.
Coming back to the room around you.
And take the next few moments.
Get out your pen and your journal.
Write down your mantra.
Write down any thoughts or emotions,
Feelings that came up for you.
You can repeat your mantra by writing it out over and over again.
That is a beautiful way to honor yourself.
