Take a moment to get comfortable.
Sit firmly in your chair on the ground with a pillow underneath you.
Make sure your spine is straight,
Your head,
Neck,
Shoulders and hips are all in alignment.
We want to spend this time focusing and aligning our mind.
And let's start by aligning our body.
So as you get comfortable,
Maybe you need to move your shoulders around,
You need to move your hands and your hips.
Basically just allow yourself to relax and feel into this moment.
As you get comfortable,
Start taking a few deeper breaths than your regular breathing.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
And as you breathe in,
Say to yourself,
Breathe in and as you breathe out,
Say breathe out.
Focusing on breathing in and the breathing out.
As you start to direct your mind and your thoughts to your breath,
Should your mind start to wander at all during this meditation,
Know that you can always come back to the breath.
Focusing on breathing in,
Breathing out.
And as we settle in here for this meditation,
I'd like you to open yourself up to receiving,
To receiving divine inspiration that may be rolling your shoulders back,
Opening up your chest and your heart.
Maybe it's putting your hands on your knees so that your palms are facing up,
Open and ready to receive whatever is coming to you right now.
Whatever message you need to hear,
You are open because it is when we quiet our mind that we open ourselves up to new ideas,
To divine inspiration.
Continue breathing in and breathing out.
We're going to take the next few moments here to visualize.
So with your eyes closed,
I want you to start creating a picture in your mind.
And this picture is a vision of your future.
Anything that you can imagine for the future version of you.
What kind of life do you desire?
Where are you living?
Who are you with?
And what are you doing?
Consider this life as it is happening,
As if you are watching a movie on a screen.
You are watching your life happening right in front of you.
And as you visualize this life,
How does it make you feel?
What emotions are coming up for you right now?
Give those emotions names in your mind.
All the desires,
The life that you desire.
How does it make you feel?
And breathe in and breathe out,
Feeling those emotions.
And now using your senses,
Explore this vision of your life.
What do you see?
People,
Colors,
Places.
What do you see with your eyes?
What is around you?
What do you smell?
Is there a certain smell in the air,
Wherever you are?
What is it?
Breathe it in and out.
What do you feel?
Do you feel a certain temperature,
Hot,
Cold,
Warmth of the sun?
What are you feeling on your body?
Really feel it.
Whatever that is for you.
And what do you hear?
Is there something around you or someone that in this vision of your life that you hear?
What sounds are in this life?
Breathe them in and out.
Keeping this vision in your mind.
Is there anything maybe you can taste?
What is the taste?
Are you eating something?
Is there food around?
What is it?
Really embrace your senses in this vision.
What are you seeing,
Smelling,
Feeling,
Hearing and tasting in this desired vision for your life?
Breathe it in and out.
Breathe it in and out.
Locking in this vision of this life that you desire.
Taking one final look before we finish out this meditation.
And as you come back to where you are in the present moment,
Hold tight of this vision.
Know that as long as this desire is in you,
That it is yours.
This is your desire.
You are worthy of this vision for your future life.
And embrace this vision as though it has already happened for you.
Breathe in and out.
And come back to the room that you're in.
Wiggling your fingers,
Your toes,
Maybe rolling your shoulders or your head,
Bringing movement back into your body and then blinking your eyes open.
Feeling within your heart that vision of your life that is yours.
That desire is yours.
Have faith and know that it is your reality.
Now take a few moments here to journal about this vision.
Write down what this vision was,
The emotions and what your senses brought up for you.
What you saw,
What you smelled,
What you felt,
What you heard and what you tasted.
And bring that vision to life on paper.
This is your life.
