So find yourself in a comfortable position where your back is straight so that your head,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your hips can all be in alignment.
Take some deep breaths here and slowly settle yourself in.
Starting to focus on your breathing and focus on your breath.
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling through your mouth and just settling in.
And maybe you even physically as you breathe in,
You're breathing in and you're lifting up and as you exhale you're breathing out,
Pushing down into the earth,
Grounding yourself.
Start deepening your breath here,
Connecting with your belly.
Let's take an extra few deep breaths here to really settle in.
So breathing in,
Breathing in deep into your belly and then holding for a moment and then breathing out.
And do that a few more times at your own pace.
Breathing in,
Holding at the top and then breathing out.
Settling your mind,
Settling your body,
Getting you set up for the day ahead.
To know that you've started your day with calm and ease and you can take that with you for the remainder of this day.
Starting that breath,
Pulling it in,
Holding at the top and then breathing out.
And now returning to a gentle rhythmic breath.
And just slowing down.
Slowing down your mind,
Slowing down your body,
Giving yourself the space to just be.
And if your mind has already wandered that is okay.
Bring your focus back to your inhales and your exhales.
Finding yourself just where you are.
Knowing that you are exactly where you need to be right now.
In this space for you.
Calm,
Quiet space where all you need to focus on is your breath.
Filling up your lungs,
Filling up your body and slowing down.
Enjoying the space that you're in.
And if ever throughout the day you notice that your mind is racing,
Your heart is racing and you're not sure what's next thing to do and what next step to take.
Know that that's your cue to slow down.
To take your time and focus on your breathing.
Put your hand on your chest or your belly.
And just take three deep breaths in those moments.
Knowing that your breath is always here.
To help you reconnect with yourself.
To help calm you and to help you find space to just be.
This is your home base.
This is your space.
And for more calm and less stress.
This is where you can come anytime.
Thank you for joining me on day one of less stress and more calm.
I'm excited to continue to stay with you and to be a reminder for the next seven days that your space is right here within you.
