Welcome to this meditation to start your work day.

In this meditation today we are going to take time to be calm and grounded and calling in a beautiful state of ease and effortless flow throughout your day.

When you begin your day from this place you bring this energy with you throughout your entire day and you can return to this energy this calmness anytime that you need to.

So let's begin.

Get yourself into a comfortable position maybe you're sitting in your car you're sitting at your desk you're getting ready to leave your house wherever you are take a moment to pause to just be where you are in this moment.

And if you can close your eyes and really settle in.

If you're in a space where you can't close your eyes simply gaze down softly focusing on a point in front of you.

And begin by simply paying attention to your breath.

You're breathing in and you're breathing out.

Slowly paying attention to the rise and fall of your belly.

And just the pacing of your breath.

No need to change it just be aware of it.

And now begin taking a deeper breath.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

Taking longer breaths in maybe holding for a moment at the top before breathing out.

Putting everything down.

Finding a place of calm and ease to start your day.

Take a moment now to focus on grounding yourself into the earth.

Feeling your feet beneath you the seat beneath you and really connecting to the earth below.

Every breath in breathing up and as you breathe out ground yourself a little bit more into the earth.

Relaxing your shoulders relaxing the muscles in your face.

Soften your breath relaxing into the earth below you.

Say out loud or to yourself the affirmations I am calm.

I am grounded.

I am calm.

I am grounded.

Realizing that through this calm and groundedness this ease into your day that you can breathe in bring all of this energy into your interactions with others into the work that you do and this calm and ease will allow you to have more clarity for any decision making that needs to happen today.

If you feel your energy is not calm and grounded take a pause before entering a meeting before opening up your email and just take a few deep breaths and repeat I am calm.

I am grounded.

Bring this energy with you into your day and take those breaks whenever you need them.

Have a beautiful day.

I felt grounded and connected to my breath after this meditation. Would have loved some calm background music with it.
