Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Sitting,
Laying down,
However feels good for you,
Sitting in a chair,
Sitting on the floor,
Whatever is comfortable for you,
Find yourself in that comfortable space.
And just starting to connect to your breath.
Starting to breathe.
Starting to slow down.
Even if it's early in the morning or late at night or middle of the day,
We typically start our day going from zero to sixty.
So by doing this,
By taking these moments,
You're slowing down.
You're slowing that pace.
You can see what's ahead of you.
You can think clearly.
And you can make decisions.
Taking this time to just go inward.
Listening to the sound of your breathing.
Feeling the rise and fall of your belly.
Just connecting in.
Starting your day inward.
Giving yourself the care that you need to fill your body and fill your mind.
Just take your hands and place them,
One on your heart,
One on your belly.
And as you breathe in here,
Be aware of these spaces.
Breathing in to your heart and your belly.
Setting your body up with oxygen and love.
Connecting with these parts of you that serve as your guidance system.
These parts that tend to go unheard in the busyness of life.
Connect back to them.
Tap in to these spaces.
Your heart and your belly.
Where we know the best decisions are made.
I'll give you a few moments here to just breathe and connect.
Take a big deep inhale in,
Filling everything up.
And then slowly exhaling out,
Bringing everything back down.
Connecting in with these spaces.
Breathing with your breath.
And now going a little deeper with your breathing.
Breathing in for four,
Hold for four,
And breathe out for four.
So inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold.
Exhale,
Hold.
Inhale,
Hold.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold.
Exhale,
Hold.
Let's keep breathing here.
And taking one final big deep inhale.
And as you exhale,
Forcefully blow the air out.
And do that again.
Breathing deeply in through your nose.
And then forcefully blowing the air out.
Letting go of all of the stress,
All of the tension that's being held in your body.
If you ever have those moments throughout the day,
Start by slowly.
If you ever feel that tension,
That stressfulness,
That overwhelm start to fill you.
Back to your breath and just start listening.
And then when you're ready,
Really focusing on breathing in deeply.
And then breathing in,
Then pushing the air out.
That release of air is going to feel so good to just get out any of that tension that's laying within your body.
So again,
Knowing your heart,
Your belly are the places that you can always connect.
Where the answers lie and where our best decisions are made.
And then always connecting with your breath.
If you find your two up in your head,
Take the time.
Physically put your hands on your body.
Start breathing and start connecting.
