So let's take a moment here to just settle into our being.
Our being still,
Our being present,
Our being here with yourself and with others.
Because as we sit and meditate and share this quiet space,
It's not just with us.
There's a community of people who are doing the same thing,
Even if it's not at the exact same time.
And there's a collective energy that we can tap into in those moments.
Maybe when we can't tap into our own energy,
We can tap into the energy of others.
And that's what we're going to do today.
So settle in,
Start slowing down your breath,
Get comfortable however you are sitting,
Laying down,
Whatever position you're in.
Just being and ensuring that you are comfortable and that your body is in alignment.
Head,
Neck,
Shoulders,
And start focusing on your breath.
Focusing on your breathing.
Feeling your breath in through your nose and out through your nose.
Feeling the air,
The cool rush of air,
Listening to your breathing.
Feeling the rise and fall of your belly and your chest.
However you need to connect today,
Go there.
Go there now and just connect.
And just be.
Start taking your breath a little bit deeper.
Exhaling all the way to the top and exhaling all the way out nice and slow.
We are not in a rush today.
Taking your breath as big as you can in this moment.
Exhaling your lungs completely and then emptying them completely nice and slowly.
Keeping yourself to stop,
To slow down,
To be still.
And now continue your breathing as normal and just be in the moment.
If you feel called,
Flip your hands so that your palms are facing up.
So that you can receive the energy of the collective.
When you struggle to sit still,
Call on that collective energy to support you.
All those other people out there who are sitting still,
Finding the peace.
Call upon their energy and allow it to come to you in this moment.
And just breathe.
Just be right here.
Your mind starts to wander,
Come back to your breath.
Any thoughts that come in your mind,
Let them go in and out.
Just let them float by like clouds in the sky.
They're just there.
They don't have a meaning.
They're just a thought,
Uplift in time.
We can choose whether we hold on to that thought or whether we let it float by.
Because thoughts only have meaning when we give them meaning.
Otherwise they're just a thought.
Focusing back as we started this morning.
Focusing on your breath.
Feeling the air.
Feeling the rise and fall of your stomach.
And know that you can sit and be as long as you need today.
This silence,
This collective energy is always here for you to tap into.
Just as your breath is always here for you.
