Welcome to day seven.
Many of us are excellent at giving and terrible at receiving.
So today we tap on the part that deflects,
Dismisses,
And minimizes.
We practice the radical act of letting good things land.
Begin tapping on the karate chop point.
Repeat after me.
Even though I'm so much better at giving than receiving,
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Even though I deflect compliments,
Gifts,
Support,
And good fortune,
I am willing to receive now.
Even though receiving has felt vulnerable,
I am safe to open.
Eyebrow point.
All the times I deflected good.
Side eye.
All the compliments I brushed off.
Under eye.
All the help I refused.
Under nose.
All the gifts I downplayed.
Chin.
This habit of not letting it land.
Collarbones.
It feels safer to give than to receive.
Underarm.
Receiving feels exposed.
Top of head.
All this resistance to letting good in.
Eyebrow point.
I am safe to receive.
Side eye.
Receiving is not weakness.
Under eye.
When I receive fully,
I let others give fully.
Under nose.
I am opening my hands.
Chin.
I am opening my heart.
Collarbones.
I am letting good things land.
Underarm.
I deserve to be on the receiving end.
Top of head.
I am ready.
I am open.
And I am receiving.
Now go ahead and pause.
Maybe bring one hand to your heart.
Take a full breath.
Whisper,
I am open.
I am receiving.
And stay there.
The universe loves an open hand.
Today,
When something good comes your way,
A compliment,
A kindness,
A small win,
Let it in.
Don't deflect.
Just say thank you and feel it land in your heart space.
