In this EFT tapping meditation, we tap on the depression we may be currently experiencing. We validate what we are feeling and then allow the low energy to move out of us. We allow ourselves to not be defined by these feelings. Music by: Chris Collins

Welcome to your EFT tapping meditation for depression.

Just a disclaimer,

I am not a mental health practitioner,

So if you are experiencing clinical or unmanageable depression,

Please seek help from a professional.

This meditation is just meant to be helpful if you are going through a lower time in your life or just having a bad day and feel a little low or off.

If that is you,

You've come to the right place.

Even though these feelings can be really uncomfortable and sometimes even confusing when they're happening,

But let's tap through it together and allow ourselves to be more at peace with how we're feeling right now.

Right now,

You can grade yourself if you want from a 1 through 10,

10 being the most depressed or low feeling.

As we tap,

We can see if our number goes down.

Go ahead and get comfortable.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in and out.

Start tapping on the side of your hand.

I don't always feel amazing,

But I love and accept myself anyway.

Sometimes I feel really down and I question everything,

But I love and accept myself anyway.

I know that I can get to a place where I accept how I feel right now and I fully love and accept myself.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow,

All of the sadness.

Right eye,

All of the unhappiness.

Under eye,

All of the depressing feelings I'm carrying right now.

Under nose,

I feel low.

Under mouth,

And I want to release these feelings.

Collarbone,

I don't want to hold on to these lower vibrational feelings.

Under your armpit,

I know that how I feel is valid and that there is a season for these feelings.

Top of the head,

But I am ready to pick myself up.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow,

I want to let go of these heavy feelings that I'm carrying.

Side eye,

I want to feel positive again.

Under eye,

I want to feel better again.

Under nose,

I want to believe that everything happens for a reason again.

Under mouth,

And I know that I'll get there,

Like I have in the past.

Collarbone,

But right now it feels hard for me.

Under your armpit,

And honestly,

That's okay.

Top of the head,

It's okay to feel this way,

And I know I can get to the other side of it.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow,

What if I knew that everything would be okay?

Side eye,

What if I knew that it was okay to feel down right now?

Under eye,

What if I reassured myself that these feelings are not going to last forever?

Under nose,

What if I could tell myself that even if it's hard,

This is a transformational time for me?

Under mouth,

What if I believed that all these low feelings will lift for me very soon?

Collarbone,

What if I knew that I wasn't alone in these feelings?

Under your armpit,

What if I believed that I could pick myself up whenever I needed to?

Top of the head,

What if I trusted that everything would be okay?

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow,

I allow myself to experience these low feelings.

Side eye,

I also allow myself to come out on the other side of these feelings.

Under eye,

I know and accept that I can't feel good all of the time.

Under nose,

Things happen and that is life.

Under mouth,

Sometimes it's normal to go through low points.

Collarbone,

But that doesn't have to last very long.

Under your armpit,

I know I can turn these feelings around when I've gone through the cycle that I needed to go through.

Top of the head,

I know that it'll all be okay.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow,

I allow myself to go through any feelings that I need to go through.

Side eye,

No matter if they are good or bad feelings.

Under eye,

I also know that I deserve to feel good when I want to.

Under nose,

Even if I've had to go through some heavy feelings.

Under mouth,

I deserve to come out feeling good.

Collarbone,

I deserve to come out seeing my life as beautiful again.

Under your armpit,

Even if that's hard sometimes to think about.

Top of the head,

I deserve to not let these heavy feelings define me.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow,

I am allowing this heavy energy to lift from me.

Side eye,

I am allowing this darkness to become brighter.

Under eye,

Because I deserve that.

Under nose,

I deserve to feel light.

Under mouth,

I deserve to feel good energy.

Collarbone,

It feels so good to bring in this nice energy right now.

Under your armpit,

I allow this good energy to come into my life.

Top of the head,

I allow myself to feel good and I fully love and accept myself.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Okay that's the end of this EFT tapping meditation for depression.

If you want you can regrade what you graded at the beginning of this meditation and see if your number went down at all.

And really the whole goal here is to just feel more at peace with the feelings that you're having.

If you feel low right now,

The goal is really to just be okay with those feelings but also to know that it won't last forever.

And I think that's for,

In my opinion,

With my experiences,

One of the most important things if I'm having a lower time in my life.
