Welcome to your anxiety-free travel visualization.
This visualization is for you if you have some travel coming up or you know you want to travel soon but you often run into some anxiety just thinking about it.
We're going to quiet the mind and calm those thoughts so that you can have a more enjoyable trip or so you can actually start planning that trip that you know you want to take.
Let's begin by having you get comfortable.
You can sit or lie down,
Whatever works best for you.
And I want you to close your eyes.
We're going to start by taking a few grounding breaths.
So take a deep breath in and out.
And in and out.
And one more big breath in and out.
We're going to begin by just relaxing our body.
Starting at the top of your head,
I want you to feel a calming energy sweep over your whole body.
I want you to start at your face and just feel your forehead relax and then down to your jawbone.
And feel that calming energy sweep down through your neck.
Feel it work its way down through your chest and relax all those muscles.
And then down both of your arms.
And then feel that calming energy work its way all the way down through your stomach.
And then down over your hips.
And down both of your legs,
All the way down to your feet.
Now that calm,
Relaxing energy is filling your whole body and your whole body is relaxed.
So just keep feeling that feeling all over.
Now that we're fully relaxed,
I want you to think about the travel that you have coming up or the travel that you want to plan in the near future.
I want you to literally picture yourself going on this trip.
Instead of focusing on what could go wrong,
Or any unknowns of the trip,
I want you to focus on the fun and exciting parts of the trip.
Focus on the reasons that you're going on the trip.
So when you think about those reasons,
How does it feel when you think about it?
How does that make you feel?
Even if this is a business trip or a trip you're taking for something other than pure fun,
Think about the positives of the trip.
Maybe you're going somewhere you've never been before and you get to explore a new place.
Maybe you love trying new foods and they have so many good choices for you to choose from.
I'm sure it makes you feel really happy and positive to think about all the reasons that you wanted to go on this trip.
So in the visualization,
I want you to just picture yourself on this trip actually doing all of the things that you want to do there.
Maybe it's just relaxing on the beach.
Maybe you want to go ziplining.
Whatever you wanted to do there,
Just picture yourself doing it.
And again,
Don't think about the unknowns or what could go wrong in your head.
Think about how much you wanted to do these activities and how good it will feel to actually do them.
And just feel all of those good feelings doing the things that you've dreamed of doing.
Just imagine yourself smiling or relaxing or laughing or whatever emotion you want to feel while you're on this trip.
And we're going to just continue to sit in that good feeling for a moment while you continue to imagine yourself on this trip doing those things that you've dreamed of doing.
Traveling can always have its unknowns and occurrences that you can't plan for,
But it's okay.
Traveling can be such an amazing and magical experience.
Traveling can show you new places and new things and even new people that you've never met before.
Traveling can also help you grow and mold yourself into the person that you were brought here to be.
Your soul has most likely lived on this earth before in different places than you currently live and it's time to explore all this familiarities your soul has experienced before or maybe things your soul craved but never got to experience in the past.
You were meant to experience all that you desire in this world.
