Find a nice comfortable place to sit or to lie down and just relax.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth.

Now take another deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe out.

One more time,

Deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe out.

Now just bring your breathing back to its normal rhythm.

Feeling your chest rise and fall gently.

Feeling warm and safe.

Feeling peaceful and calm.

Feeling very relaxed.

And with each breath you take,

You can feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed.

Almost as if you are still.

You are so relaxed,

So peaceful,

So calm.

Now imagine yourself sitting in a large green field and the sun is shining brightly.

And it's a very beautiful clear day and you can see for miles and miles.

And it's so beautiful.

You can even see a big kite flying high,

High,

High up in the sky.

And you feel very calm,

Very relaxed and so very peaceful.

And you can hear birds singing to each other in the distance as they fly just ever so close but not too close.

And you look up at the bright blue sky and you can see lovely soft white fluffy clouds just drifting lazily along.

So you watch them as they pass high above you.

Now see yourself completely surrounded by a beautiful golden light.

And it surrounds your whole body.

It's above your head and beneath your feet.

And this golden light makes you feel warm,

Tingly and so very safe.

And you can feel your toes becoming heavier as they gently start to relax more and more.

It's like a wave that slowly begins to travel up your body.

And it travels to your feet just above your ankles.

And your feet become very heavy,

Very relaxed and very calm.

And you can feel this wave as it travels up your shins and your calves.

It travels through your knees and up your thighs and all the while becoming heavier and heavier.

And you become even more relaxed,

Deeper and deeper relaxed.

And you can feel this wave as it travels over your shoulders,

Into your arms,

Through the whole of your body.

It passes through your elbows and into your forearms.

And everywhere this wave touches you,

It feels warm and safe and so very peaceful.

And you feel it still as it travels through your wrists and into your hands.

And you are feeling so heavy now,

So peaceful,

So very calm and so very,

Very relaxed.

And this wave continues to travel up the back of your neck and over the top of your head.

And your scalp feels just a little bit tingly.

And it travels down your face and your face becomes heavy,

Peaceful,

So relaxed.

Your eyes feel heavy,

Your ears feel heavy,

Your nose and your lips feel so very heavy.

Even your cheeks and your tongue,

So relaxed,

So peaceful,

So calm.

But always remember,

You are safe,

You are loved and you are protected.

And your whole body feels so very heavy,

So heavy that you cannot move your body,

But that's okay.

Because you don't need to move your body and you don't really want to move your body anyway.

So you just sit in your lovely green field for just a moment and just rest.

So how do you feel right now?

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

In this place of safety,

No one can come without your invitation.

In this place of safety,

You are always at peace.

And each time that you come to your safe place,

It becomes more and more beautiful,

More and more peaceful,

More and more relaxing.

Because this is your place,

Your safe place.

Allow yourself to see what is here today.

What can you see?

What is in this beautiful green field?

Notice the ground.

Is it earthy soil?

Is it rock?

Or is it sand?

Are you barefoot?

What does the ground feel like beneath your feet?

What smells do you notice?

Is it a sweet smell?

Pungent smell?

Or is it a refreshing smell?

There are birds flying high above you.

Can you see them?

Listen to their singing.

What other sounds can you hear?

Just let these sounds lull you peacefully.

Because you do feel so very peaceful,

So very calm,

And so very,

Very relaxed.

You look to your left and you notice there is a pond with a waterfall flowing gently down the hillside.

Can you hear the sound of the water?

You step over to it and stand beneath the beautiful waterfall.

Can you let it flow over your skin?

Notice how the water feels on your skin.

Can you taste the water?

You feel a soft breeze on your skin.

What does it feel like on your face?

Is it warm?

Or is it cool?

Allow yourself to take in all of the senses,

Feeling calm,

Serene,

And so very,

Very peaceful.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

You step out from the water and allow yourself to lie down in this beautiful,

Safe place and rest for just a little while.

And as you do,

Feel the ground beneath your body.

Really feel it.

How does it feel?

Notice the gentle earth below you as it warms you,

As it cradles you,

Allowing you to relax even more.

Oh,

You feel so safe here.

So very,

Very safe.

Feel your body resting on the ground and allow any tension to be released back into the ground,

Letting it just seep away.

Letting Mother Nature do her very special thing.

Letting her recycle all of your worries,

All of your tension and all of your stress,

So that it can do no more harm.

Can you still hear the water splashing as it makes tiny little gentle waves in the pond?

Imagine that water washing over you and taking away any tension left in your body.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Now look above you and notice the colour of the sky.

Notice the sun.

Feel the warm rays of the sun on your skin.

What else can you see?

Are there more clouds?

Ones you maybe didn't see before?

Are there any trees around?

Have a good look around you.

What else can you see?

Can you see trees and shrubs?

If you can,

Notice the foliage and the beautiful colours of the leaves.

Notice how they gently move in the breeze.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Now look around you and notice if there is a bench or a rock or even a tree stump in this place and go and sit on it.

Find the one you want.

Feel the sun warming you and relaxing you even further because you are deeply,

Deeply relaxed and so peaceful and so very calm and so very,

Very safe.

Breathe in the warmth of the sun and allow it to fill you with a sense of calm and peace from the very top of your head to the tips of your toes.

The longer you stay in this beautiful place,

Your safe place,

The more you become part of it.

The more you feel rested,

More relaxed,

More at peace because nothing here can hurt you or touch you in any way.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Allow yourself to create a place of safety and peace.

A place that is always yours and it is always safe,

Always peaceful and always relaxing.

Breathe in the safety and breathe out any fears you may have.

So breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Each time you breathe in,

You feel so much more at peace.

And in this place,

Maybe you would like to build your own cottage or put up a tent or even build a tree house that is yours and yours alone.

Maybe you would like to find a cave,

A place just for you,

A place of safety and protection.

And you could add special places or rooms to your safe place.

You could plant flowers,

Grow vegetables if you wanted to.

And you can create anything that you would like,

Anything at all,

Anything that makes you happy.

So for a few moments,

Do just that.

Create your safe place.

Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Now it's time to return to your own home.

Find yourself to gently return to the room and always knowing that you can return to your safe place anytime you like,

Anytime at all.

You can come back to your safe place.

Now gently move your body a little bit,

Feeling your muscles slowly waking up and take a deep breath in through your nose.

And slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth.

Little by little,

Slowly move your body and stretch a bit if you want to.

Wriggle your fingers and wriggle your toes and allow your mind to become fully awake and alert while still feeling peaceful,

Calm and relaxed,

But so very full of life.

And whenever you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Feeling energized,

Calm,

Peaceful and so very,

Very safe.

This was an amazing meditation thanks new horizen for thiss beutiful meditation it really helped me and I love all of your sleep stories so much I Liston to 1. The sleep train 2. Mistic mountain 3.sleepy spaceship 4. Sleepy cottage 5. Dolphin dreams 6.a safe teenager place I loved this also I am a kid I have a idea for another sleep story please make a 60 to 80 min sleep story or just a 30 min if you prefer and you should make one about a fancy hotel that is magic and one were you go snorkeling and one were you explore a snow cave πŸŒšβœ¨πŸ’œπŸ’€πŸ˜΄πŸŒ™πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ’•
