Welcome,
To this pregnancy meditation.
This guided meditation is intended for any stage of pregnancy.
To be present and root together with your baby in your belly.
Please get comfortable and join me in some grounding breaths to start this meditation.
First close your eyes and put your hands on your belly.
Feel the energetic exchange that is happening within your body.
Picture a white light that emanates from your core.
You are exuding life and the creation of it.
Feel this life with the powerful white light that shines from your center as you touch and hold this beautiful creation within your body.
Let's breathe in now as you picture life giving oxygen coming in through your nose and expanding your lungs.
And breathe out as you feel your body releasing any tension,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Relaxing your jaw and relaxing your belly.
Breathe in again picturing the air filling every part of your body.
And breathe out relaxing and releasing.
Keep breathing like this with intention for a few breaths at your own pace as you focus in the calming darkness that you can see behind your closed eyelids.
Your body is the life source of your baby.
Imagine this fresh air,
This life giving oxygen traveling throughout your body,
Swirling around your baby and embracing them from within.
They are so comfortable and warm in there.
Picture their tiny little fingers,
Their tiny little face,
With the cutest little nose and closed little eyes that will soon be opening and looking at your face as you smile at them melting with love.
Your peace is theirs and their peace is yours.
At this moment nothing else exists,
Only your baby and you.
And you two are truly one.
Holding them within you for months is the longest hug you've ever given.
There is so much love in this hug.
There is so much nurture,
So much peace.
Seemingly fragile,
Their resilience is infinite,
As is yours.
Your strength is theirs and their strength is yours.
The balance between vulnerability and strength is perfect.
Fragility and resilience.
Surrender and power.
Come back to your present body,
See the position in which you are resting.
Holding and protecting your baby within.
And with this power and resilience,
We finish this meditation with one last inhalation and exhalation at your own pace.
Thank you for meditating with me.
